“Nice management at Santa Cruz beach hotel”

The management was very friendly and the room was nice. You're a little near a dicey area, but that's the nature of this kind of beach community. We still enoyed the location and took walks nearby.

“Good place to stay at a good price.”

Situated just 5 minutes (by foot) away from the main street, the hotel is not far from all your needs. Staff were extremely friendly and helpful with great recommendations and directions. Rooms are clean and in good condition. A swimming pool is available and Wi-Fi is free.

“not bad but...”

The hotel is quite clean. The drawbacks I have experienced are: 1) not so stable wifi connection 2) the breakfast area is tiny. You have to pick up your breakfast and bring it to your room.

“Comfortable hotel in Santa Cruz”

The lady at the front desk was very pleasant and helpful. Rooms were clean and the beds comfortable. Room contained microwave and refrigerator as well as flat screen TV. Would definitely stay there again.

“Bargain Hotel”

My husband , son and I went for a college trip. Not being too familiar with the area and the choices being very limited, there are a lot of these types of Motels in the area. A B&B might have been a better option....But If you don't plan on spending anytime in your room and you get here after dark,( so that you can avoid looking at the Super 8 sign and motel surroundings ) then it's fine. The bed is comfortable and the sheets were decent.

“Clean & Comfortable”

Close to boardwalk. Rooms were clean and for it being an older motel (as all the motels in this area are) it was in great condition. Bed was comfy and plenty of pillows. Parking is limited so get there early. Staff was courteous and welcoming. Would definitely stay here again.

“It's ok but not great, overpriced”

The pictures on Expedia are definitely misleading. The location is good, a nice walk to the Santa Cruz boardwalk. The pool is awful, very small, the pool furniture is old and falling apart, the water is freezing, the appearance is unappealing and and the pool basically might as well not be there. The rooms are clean but bare bones. You are definitely paying for the location as anywhere else the rate would be a third what we paid.

“Oh god......gross”

STAY AWAY !!!!!!!!!!!!! Do yourself a favor, pick anywhere else!!!!!!!
