“Get more than what you pay for”

Room was clean...bed was comfortable...shower was good. Wi-fi included. Walk to beach and boardwalk. Front desk very helpful. All-in-all a very good value for the money.

“Super-8 is truly super!”

This is an incredibly nice hotel for the price. The owner Sunni and her her husband were so kind and helpful and the rooms are surprisingly large and well appointed. Our room had high quality linens (triple-sheeted) and upgraded beds, a flat screen TV, microwave and fridge and was convenient to the parking lot. I can't say enough how surprised and delighted we were with our week long Christmastime stay. Centrally located just a half block from the Boardwalk, near restaurants, a laundromat and shopping. Bravo!

“Will definitely stay there again”

The hotel is located a couple of blocks from the Beach with direct views to the Beach Boardwalk. The room was always kept clean with all of the basic necessary live in requirements. Praf and Suni Patel ( Managers) couldn't have offered anymore great hospitality as it was outstanding. The shops and laundry mat are within walking distance and the surrounding areas for lunch and dinner are only a few minutes drive away. All in all, I was glad to have stayed there. Thankyou.

“very surprised and impressed!”

Do not be fooled by the fact that this is a motel. We booked at the last minute for a fantastic price, on our way to Santa Barbara. The staff were extremely helpful and friendly, the room was very comfortable and spotless and it is in a good location. Overall we were very happy with our 1 night stay and would definitely recommend and return!

“Great comfy room, ok but not the best bathroom”

Free parking was terrible since there weren't enough spaces and room to safely park. However, the beds and pillows were super comfortable. It was walking distance from the Boardwalk and beach. The microwave and mini fridge were very convenient. Flat screens also gave it a nice update.

Clean, pleasant folks working there, and only a 5 minute walk from the Santa Cruz Boardwalk. I would stay here again.

Reasonably priced, neat, and clean. Staff very friendly. Free wi-fi and a flat screen TV. Plenty of amenities in the bathroom and a simple continental breakfast in the lobby. Room was very quiet even though hotel is next to a main street. I would not hesitate to recommend to a friend or to stay there again.

The staff was very friendly. I forgot my razor at home but they were kind enough to find me a disposable one. Awesome location, fun staff made for a great time. If you want luxury, this isnt the place to be.If you want classic Boardwalk Santa Cruz with a grungy edge, you have found it.
