“lovely hotel and nice staff”

We were delighted to stay in Carmel and thoroughly enjoyed our time there. The hotel was beautifully decorated with lots of flowers everywhere. Our time was limited so we didn't get to the pool but it looked very inviting. The location is perfect, a few minutes walk from everywhere interesting. The breakfast worked for us and we're quite demanding about healthy food. All in all, a great stay.

“Nice if you don't mind small spaces”

Good: Convenient location in an attractive setting. A nice breakfast basket with a newspaper brought to your doorstep in the morning. Bad: Room and bathroom size were small and tight.

“Great location...thin walls....”

Great place to stay walking distance to everything. Just a couple blocks form Ocean Ave. We took our dog and they were helpful and had no issues. Just be sure you give a heads-up in advance so they can put you in a designated room if you're brining a pet. There is a grassy area just below the pool for dogs, not big enough for exercise but big enough for them to stretch out. We stayed in Room 3 which was old but clean. The breakfast lunchbox at the door with the daily paper was a nice touch. ONLY real issue is the thin walls! I don't think our neighbors were talking extremely loud but the walls must be VERY thin. We could hear everything...other than that no problems...

“Not impressed.”

This inn is in a good convenient location close to shoopping and restaurants. Our room was very small, dowdy and cramped. They do have better rooms, but we were in their low rent area even though they were not at all full. I expected better of this inn.
