“Great stay.”

Staff was friendly , I showed up early and they accomodated me immediately. The room was clean and the bed was super cumfy. I like the parking as there is only one way in and out and it is off street , I was on a motorcycle and this made me feel more secure about leaving my bike unattended.

Fun place to stay. Did not have to use the car except for sightseeing. Everything we needed was within walking distance. Our room was big and the bed was very comfy. Very quaint and really friendly staff.

“Good for couples who like to walk”

The location of the hotel is very convienient to be able to walk everywhere in town. The beds of the hotel were wonderful, we got a good nights rest. The breakfast was sufficient and fresh. We enjoyed the Sherry in the afternoon with cookies. Overall, it was a good experience.

“Lovely Inn But Lacks Soundproofing”

Pretty inn, great location, can leave the car parked to go to the beach, shopping, eating out. Convenient to other wonderful locations like Pacific Grove where there's a great breakfast/lunch stop at First Awakenings (in a converted industrial building) just around the corner from the Monterey Bay Aquarium, and across the street from an easy going walking path along the shore to work off the calories. Unfortunately the rooms at the inn are not soundproofed; we were subjected to non-stop chatter from our next door and upper level neighbors for hours on end, including at 3am one night.

Not large room but Inn is convienently located. Walls are thin so neighbor conversations, etc can be distracting.

“Great Bed & Breakfast Style with Perfect Details, Very Well Located”

The people at the from desk were not that friendly, not bad but not the best... Nevertheless the environment of the place is just perfect, excellent breakfast (included), the room with chimney was fantastic and impeccable. 100% Recommend for couples without children. Maybe one weakness of this place is that the walls are a little bet thin, and you can hear everything outside even though is a very quiet place. Is very well located, about one block from the ocean and in a perfect place to walk around one of the most beautiful towns in the world CARMEL. Enjoy it!!!

“Enjoyed very much.”

We thought this was a very cute place in a great location in Carmel! It has a very nice French theme to it and a great value for the price. The breakfast cafe was cute and very adequate. Once we found the heater in the bathroom and the room it was very cozy in windy, chilly spring weather. Also enjoyed the cream sherry available in the lobby, so much so that we purchased some Carmel Cream Sherry at The Chateau Julian to bring home!

“Great romantic getaway inn”

Great, clean, tidy, European-style inn. Very nice staff, helpful in pointing out local points of interest, good local restaurants, etc. Good continental breakfast included, with a nice assortment of bagels, muffins, juices, coffee, cereal, yogurt....plenty! Comfortable, clean room with a fireplace, great for a romantic weekend. Highly recommend this place.
