Pros: the view from hotel room
Cons: rooms are outdated, a/c does not seem to work properly, customer satisfaction has a lot of room for improvement
Location: centrally located
The picture posted on the site is nowhere close to the rooms my family and I were placed in and requesting to be re-assigned to a more comfortable room was like pulling teeth. The front desk personnel is full of excuses and found every excuse in the book as to why they could not place us in a room that fit our needs. Be prepared to not be accommodated in rooms as nice as the ones on the website. The a/c seems to be an issue in the rooms and the rooms are very outdated. Again, nothing like the ones on the website. On one occasion, we sat in the hotel lobby/bar area and waited for approximately 20 minutes before being served a cocktail. Customer satisfaction is definitely not a priority at this hotel. Very disappointing.

Pros: The facility is very nice, excellent location, large rooms.
Cons: The service needs a complete overhaul. In addition, the hotel should say Fiesta Americana somewhere visible to arriving guests.
Neither the valet nor the restaurant maitre d' could rouse themselves sufficiently to take care of use. The valet was talking to his friends and, although he could plainly see that we required assistance, he continued to chat until I asked for his help. He then gave me a ticket for the valet parking and told me to park the car myself. The bellman delivered the luggage without incident but he did so with a sour face and a grumpy demeanor. He made no attempt to explain the room. The maitre d' eyes were focused on his smartphone as he absently waved his hand for us to enter the restaurant - which was empty save for one table. When I asked where we should sit, he gestured anywhere, still without looking at us. We walked through the restaurant to the plaza and ate at another restaurant. When we returned, he was still on the phone.

Not quite what I expected from a Fiesta Americana experience in other cities - in comparison the Hotel services and room were not as good as other Fiesta Americana or other hotels I have stayed in.

Location: beautiful square , with evening entertainment
after a long day of traveling or working I can relax. great folks - no problems.

Pros: I like that this hotel was centrally located and in walking distance of all the museums and Paseo Santa Lucia.
Cons: Front desk hotel staff! We stayed 6 nights/seven days and were charged $17.00 USD for coffee packages that are generally complimentary in most hotels.
Location: Paseo Santa Lucia (walking distance)
I would only recommend this hotel to individuals who have to stay in the downtown region of Monterrey. The front desk staff customer service was disappointing. I stayed at the hotel for 6 nights but will never stay or recommend this hotel to anyone due to the small incidental charges that were added at the end of my stay.

Good place to stay, there were only two things missing, a safe and a microwave in the room, other than that, my stay at this hotel was very satisfying.
