Great rainforest accommodationsPosted Jul 1, 2014
Location: We had the thrill of a lifetime on the zipline and then enjoyed the hanging bridges.
What a delight to find all the amenities of a first class hotel at the end of an horrific car ride up the mountain! The hotel was charming with garden walkways to pool, spa, and outside lounge areas. The restaurant served delicious foods and even had talented musicians to accompany out meals. The front desk couldn't have been more helpful. They helped with finding mechanics for our car trouble caused by the road conditions and even engaged personal friends to be on the ready should something occur as we descended the mountain. I would highly recommend this hotel to all.

Don't flush the toilet paperPosted May 19, 2014
Pros: The staff
Cons: Soiled bedspreads, toilet paper policy
Location: Very close to multiple local attractions
Our stay was during second week of May. We were informed upon check-in that their sewage system could not accept toilet paper and that we were to place it in a trash can in the bathroom. This was a new one for us. The room was hot in the afternoon despite ceiling fans since there is no air conditioning available. There is a nice pool and hot tub. The breakfast served was adequate. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bedspreads in the room were soiled and needed to be replaced or thoroughly cleaned.

Nice hotel close to doantownPosted May 15, 2014
Pros: The room was very clean at a fair price and the restaurant food was quite good
Cons: Should have a mini fridge in all rooms and the ceiling should be insulated for noise - veiling is paper thin and we could hear the neighbors...
We stayed a few days and loved the fact that it was walking distance from pretty much everything downtown.

Fantastic hotel surrounded by naturePosted Apr 17, 2014
From the moment you get to que counter to check in you are greeted cordially by the staff, with a fruit punch. they explain to you not only about the hotel but of activities in the area. You are taken to a beautiful room. But it laks air conditioner. Finally the restorant is very good.

Great choice in MonteverdePosted Apr 7, 2014
Not much to say, this was a great choice in Monteverde. The staff is great, the facility is nice, the town is charming, and there's great activities nearby: would highly recommend Selvatura Park and the Monteverde reserve. This hotel is right in the ideal place to reach all the Monteverde attractions.

Nice hotel near Monteverde ResortPosted Apr 5, 2014
Pros: Decedent room for the location.
Cons: Hotel is fine. Road getting there was awful
Location: Monteverde Cloud Forest.
Hotel was very nice. However, if you are going to Montverde by car make sure it is 4 wheel drive.

Decent hotel with close to city centrePosted Feb 13, 2014
Had a pleasant stay here. We were only there one night but the staff was very welcoming and friendly. Food was excellent! Didn't get a chance to swim but pool area looked beautiful. Only real drawbacks were that there was only one outlet working and only one light working in room. Breakfast was provided and their wifi worked well. It is extremely windy at times...so if your a light sleepy you may want to ask for a lower room.

Good hotelPosted Feb 10, 2014
Good hotel but all noise that some close his room door cause that you listen and wake up in the night 2 or 3 am and that's not good for me.

Nice clean placePosted Jan 3, 2014 on Hotels.com
This location is well centered and easily accessible to other restaurants. Beds are comfortable. The quality of service, cleanliness is great. There are some rooms which have road noise but staff was very helpful in moving us to a different room for the second night. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Pros: We liked the Staff, restaurant, look & feel.
Location: It is Close to Monteverde Cloud Forest and Selvatura. Good restaurants within walking distance.
A very comfortable stop in travels across Costa Rica; convenient to attractions. It has "mountainside quaint-ness" in modern style. On the upper level, is the front desk and restaurant; on the lower level, were the room, patio, pool, gardens, and spa.
