Very nice hotel, clean and attractive rooms.Posted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: The rooms are very attractive and clean, the staff was friendly, courteous, and helpful, and the dining facility was very nice as well.
Cons: nothing that comes to mind...
Location: Located near other dining options, and near the center of town.
The staff is very helpful and attentive to customer's needs.

Central, but a little disappointing.Posted Aug 17, 2014
Pros: Location and staff friendliness.
Cons: Room upgrade. My suggestion, if you do stay, is to request a room not by the stairs.
Location: Monteverde Cloud Forest and Santa Elena.
Centrally located hotel, easy to walk to downtown Santa Elena, but the hotel overall was a bit disappointing. Our room was right by the staircase, which was incredibly loud, and the room was shabby and run-down and the bed was very uncomfortable. The website advertising was a little misleading. The staff was kind and pleasant and welcoming.

Great rainforest accommodationsPosted Jul 1, 2014
Location: We had the thrill of a lifetime on the zipline and then enjoyed the hanging bridges.
What a delight to find all the amenities of a first class hotel at the end of an horrific car ride up the mountain! The hotel was charming with garden walkways to pool, spa, and outside lounge areas. The restaurant served delicious foods and even had talented musicians to accompany out meals. The front desk couldn't have been more helpful. They helped with finding mechanics for our car trouble caused by the road conditions and even engaged personal friends to be on the ready should something occur as we descended the mountain. I would highly recommend this hotel to all.

Don't flush the toilet paperPosted May 19, 2014
Pros: The staff
Cons: Soiled bedspreads, toilet paper policy
Location: Very close to multiple local attractions
Our stay was during second week of May. We were informed upon check-in that their sewage system could not accept toilet paper and that we were to place it in a trash can in the bathroom. This was a new one for us. The room was hot in the afternoon despite ceiling fans since there is no air conditioning available. There is a nice pool and hot tub. The breakfast served was adequate. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The bedspreads in the room were soiled and needed to be replaced or thoroughly cleaned.

Nice hotel close to doantownPosted May 15, 2014
Pros: The room was very clean at a fair price and the restaurant food was quite good
Cons: Should have a mini fridge in all rooms and the ceiling should be insulated for noise - veiling is paper thin and we could hear the neighbors...
We stayed a few days and loved the fact that it was walking distance from pretty much everything downtown.

Fantastic hotel surrounded by naturePosted Apr 17, 2014
From the moment you get to que counter to check in you are greeted cordially by the staff, with a fruit punch. they explain to you not only about the hotel but of activities in the area. You are taken to a beautiful room. But it laks air conditioner. Finally the restorant is very good.

Very Enjoyable Hotel in MonteverdePosted Apr 8, 2014 on Hotels.com
I have stayed at this hotel for the past few years and enjoy the friendliness of the staff and the quality of the food in the restaurant. The pool is nice but they need more comfortable lounging areas for the guests to relax around the pool.

Great choice in MonteverdePosted Apr 7, 2014
Not much to say, this was a great choice in Monteverde. The staff is great, the facility is nice, the town is charming, and there's great activities nearby: would highly recommend Selvatura Park and the Monteverde reserve. This hotel is right in the ideal place to reach all the Monteverde attractions.
