Affordable stayPosted Sep 5, 2014
It was ok, until I saw little unwelcome critters in the room the morning of check-out.

Close to restaurants, shopping, etc.Posted Aug 25, 2014
Pros: Convenience to restaurants, stores, interstate.
Cons: Ceiling in bathrooms were moldy - need a good cleaning and repainting, though the bathroom itself was very clean.
Location: Near all kinds of shopping - close to interstate and just a few miles out of Prattville "proper". Lots of restaurants and stores within a 1-mile radi
Easy to book. I had booked through Expedia for a 2 bed room. Clerk told me they had me for a single bed. She did give us a 2 bed room, though, so no real problem. Room was fresh and clean. We were stopping in that early from our trip to clean up and go to a wedding, so were only in the room about an hour. Temps outside were 100 degrees. We did go to the pool for a few minutes to cool of before getting ready to leave. Pool was clean, but very small. Returned from the wedding around 10 p.m. and air conditioner was not blowing cold air (had been when we checked in). I called front desk and was immediately given another room 2 doors away, so happy that this was easily accomplished. We woke at 5 a.m. to leave and when I took keys to office, the clerk on duty offered to make coffee for me, even though the sign said "breakfast" would be at 7 on weekends. (There was a coffee maker in room but only decaf, but I wasn't complaining as I knew I could go to the first place I passed to get coffee). She also happily brought out cereal and muffins for my grandson, even though I didn't ask her to do either of these. This was very nice of her. Rooms were clean but bathrooms were rather "damp" -- had mold on ceiling. Overall, this is a decent place for short stays. If I had been staying longer, would have picked a little nicer place.

Hotel needs updatingPosted Jun 25, 2014 on Hotels.com
The room appeared to be clean in the beginning but once you started looking it wasn't. Shower especially. Other peoples long hairs (not my color) all over the shower walls. Shower floor was slimy. My husband asked the front desk to have it cleaned better, but it was the same thing the next day. The furniture is really worn and frayed. The bed was at least comfortable. Over all I would say pay the extra and stay somewhere else.

Nice Room, Crappy HousekeepersPosted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: My daughter loved the pool!
The overall stay was ok. We stayed 10 days and only got one change of sheets and that was because I went down to the lobby and got them. I asked the housekeeper to change them several times and she half way made the beds to make it look like she did but I knew we still had the same sheets. The front desk staff was really friendly.

Pros: when I called to confirm reservations that I had placed with expedia, the girl was very friendly, placed me in room by the pool as requested
Location: off the main road by a block, but numerous restaurants and shopping nearby
hotel desks girls answered your questions properly but they had no enthusiasm. like they didn't really want to be there. first walked in room and overcome with freshner odor. when you shut the door to bathroom there was an overwhelming musty smell.

DisgustingPosted Jun 20, 2014 on Hotels.com
We left the hotel after they attempted to give us two rooms, both we disgusting with dirty walls, dirty towels and exposed (dirty) insulation in the room. The room smelled terrible and I was not going to let my family sleep there. We contacted hotels.com and ended up receiving a full refund.

Borderline "good" stayPosted Jun 19, 2014 on Hotels.com
Moving from AZ to AL - stayed at location because it was near the community we were searching for houses. At check-in, we were given a room that still had someone's belongings. The issue was quickly corrected. The rooms are small and not as clean as one could hope for. Breakfast was VERY basic, but gets the job done. Location is great - close to a lot of resturants and shopping.
Basic hotelPosted Jun 9, 2014
This is a basic hotel. Not fancy but it had beds and a shower. It was fairly clean. Breakfast was included but not very good. Stale biscuits and white gravy (not sausage) was it. There were individual bowls of cereal as well. Overall, I felt it was about $20 overpriced. Most other hotels were sold out that night.

A Diamond in the Rough!!Posted Apr 22, 2014 on Hotels.com
At first sight, Baymont Inn And Suites Prattville looks very inviting, with it's bright colors and crisp lines. A very nice looking place, but they do have some (easy to fix) maintenance issues that if not taken care of right away can be very detrimental to the future of Baymont Inn And Suites Prattville. Over all, I would like to say the staff was wonderful and the room was very comfortable and clean. If and when I go back would definitely stay there again.
