Desperately needs remodeling and updating. Shower had mold, plaster coming off the walls, and water on the gloor. We changed rooms. Staff doing best they can with what they have.

I thought the staff and everybody there was very friendly, I originally was only gonna stay for a night but I decided to extend my stay. The process of extending for another day was super easy. My room was clean and the cleaners did an excellent job of making sure you had everything you needed. Would definitely recommend staying here!

Great hotel. Clean, comfortable and large bed, and excellent breakfast (eggs, etc.). Fifteen minutes from towntown, where hotels were much more expensive.

Apparently the staff don’t answer the phone after 10:00, which was stressful when the car rental had closed I had to find my own way to the hotel, because they don’t answer the phone at night. They had a water problem some time ago, and when I turned on the shower, rust came out and when I turned on the sink, black soot came out. The tub was partially clogged, but quickly taken care of. The room was “made,” but the tub wasn’t cleaned nor was the floor vacuumed recently. I inquired about another room, and was told the same thing would probably happen with a new room. I don’t think I’ll stay with this property again, ever.

The location is convenient to the airport and the hours for breakfast are convenient. I stood at the front desk for several minutes before they realized I was there, but they did allow me to check in early. They advertised a fitness room, but it was under "renovations" and seemed to be that way for a very long time. The room needed love- the toilet was dirty, the top blanket had wrinkles and a hair that made me wonder if it was laundered after the last guest. The trim around the bathroom door was bent off, and the floor missing a lot of grout. The phone didn't work and the WiFi went out.

We stayed in room 312 there was HUGE red stain in front of the sofa where two small ottoman's were placed to cover it up. We were four nights housekeeping never came and took our trash out. We also had to ask for fresh towels daily. For 650.00 I thought the service would be better. Also the elevator floor was not mopped the entire time we were there. The room needs some touch up with paint and repairs with light fixtures as well. I’m a rewards member and I normally stay in Auburn when I visit my family but this time I wanted to give Montgomery a try. Never again. The front desk people were friendly.

We were not advised before booking that pets were unwelcome. Fortunately, our tiny dog was allowed to stay with us after waiting for the desk clerk’s discussion with management, plus paying an extra free. We were then not given the third floor room initially assigned; instead we were in a ground floor room with a stained rug, very noisy air conditioner, no TP dispenser, and poorly controlled shower head.

Check-in was great. Gentleman was very helpful. Breakfast was good. I always love when hotels have the Belgian waffle makers! Scrambled eggs were runny. Everything was kept full and counters were clean. Area around trash cans in eating area was untidy. Two out of the three cans were full and one had trash on the floor in front of it. The woman working picked up some of the trash but left the rest on the floor.
