Pool was nasty along with whirlpool. Got charged for parking, I had to park to stay so makes no sense and maids we're very rude. Also ordered room with jetted tub yet it had no jets.

Romantic Getaway

Pros: The serene atrium was very relaxing.
Cons: They were doing some painting and work in the pool area which left terrible smell that gave you a headache. Better ventilation would have helped.
Location: The riverfront was very nice and the buildings around make it an old town feeling, very nice.
What a beautiful hotel. We only stayed one night now I wish it was for a weekend. Great place to stay. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Will stay again.

Hotel close to meeting

Hotel was clean but could use a update. I would stay again because of the location and pricing. The breakfast was cooked to my order and in a timely manner. Enjoyed the evening cocktail hour and the extremely friendly staff who made my stay better than I expected.

Area of a hotel was convenient

Room was clean - food was great- there was a loud noise coming from the vent in my room - that could not be fixed- but they took 1/2 off my bill

Rooms were clean however the bulbs used for the room lamps were halogen or fluorescent & made the room feel cold & sterile rather than warm & cozy.

Mold spots in Bathroom

The room was beautiful when we first walked in. But went to the bathroom and on the upper wall & ceiling near the bathtub there are spots of mold. Also the single cup coffee maker would not work. Air conditioner fan loud & sounds off balance. Not much to do around Montgomery, even on a Saturday night. Will not stay there again.

Gives Montgomery Alabama a Bad Reputation

I was a general manager for hotel for 20 years, so I know the rules of the trade from top to bottom. My eyes see more in a hotel stay than most. This hotel is way over priced, the staff is friendly and helpful but under trained and lack management. Organization of duties was not to be found. Rooms were clean and spacious, facilities were not checked or kept up such as the indoor pool area or hot tub which at the time of my stay would have been a popular place for guess, they were not clean. Hours of the buffet breakfast, lunch, or dinner restaurant were not kept as were posted. My overall review is to much money, and no delivery.
