Not going back.Posted Mar 30, 2012
Cons: Clerk should be kept aware of which rooms are habitable.
First room we were given was 'under construction'. Desk clerk walked with us to a second room, it looked OK so we moved in. When we went in the bathroom to take a shower there was black mold on the ceiling and something gommed all over the top of the shower surround and running down the panels. Desk clerk offered to move us to 2nd floor room, but no elevator and my friend has bad knees and can't easily do stairs. So we just took quick showers and kept the bathroom door closed all night so we wouldn't have to be exposed to the mold. Manager was accomodating the next morning, and adjusted the room rate.

Montgomery BoundPosted Dec 23, 2009
We really enjoyed staying at the hotel. The room was clean and comfortable. It was very convenient to where we had to go. I will recommend this hotel to others and If we ever have to go back there I will book this room for a second time. Thank you.

Never Again!Posted Aug 2, 2007
This hotel is in absolutely the roughest part of Montgomery. I had to call three times to get directions because the hotel did not have a sign correctly identifying it. It did have two signs, one from a past life which was broken out and rusting, the other indicating another hotel name entirely. I have traveled all over the world and stayed in many less-than-great hotels. This one, however, has got to be one of the worst!

Worst HotelPosted Apr 13, 2007
I have never been in a dirtier hotel in my life. Our footprints left marks on the bathroom floor just from walking on the carpet from the door to the bathroom, less than 20 ft.

rather sleep in carPosted Nov 30, 2006
This is one of the worst hotels i have ever stayed in. Bed consisted of a mattress on the floor. Bathroom had holes in the ceiling. Pieced together microwave was situated on the floor. Must see to believe.
