“Great place to stay”

Wonderful hotel but it can be confusing getting to/from parking deck until you get your bearings. Also, food in the hotel is pricey as well as the restaurants nearby. Good food but be willing to pay. Employees were very hospitable and helpful.

Area recommendations

Shopping area off of I-85. Can't remember the name of it but lots of shops and restaurants there. Mimi's was great.

“Would stay again in this hotel.”

The area surrounding the hotel is under renovation and a little confusing. The courtesy of the staff was outstanding. Room service and the house restaurant was good. Hotel was very clean. The only problem I had was the ventilation. No exhaust fans in the bathroom and that made the humidity really bad in the room.

Area recommendations

The historic district where this hotel is located will be very nice when the renovations are finished. We were going to a concert and the venue was located adjacent to the hotel.

Events and shows

Performing Arts Center is a wonderful place to go. There is not a bad seat in the house.

“This hotel snob was impressed.”

I've stayed at this hotel previously and was impressed. So when I saw the fabulous deal offered by Expedia, I jumped at the chance to stay there again while in town on business. The offer truly was good only at Expedia - I tried to get the same deal directly with the hotel and they couldn't do it. Now, we did have a view of air conditioners, but I expected that with the rate I paid. The room was quite spacious and very nice and the bed was ultra comfortable.
