“NOT IMPRESSED”

WE WAS NOT HAPPY WITH OUR STAY AT THE HOTEL......WHEN WE GOT TO OUR ROOM .....THERE WAS DIRTY SOAP WITH HAIR IN THE SHOWER...WE CONTACTED THE OFFICE...THEY FINALLY CALLED US BACK ...WHEN WE WERE ON OUR WAY OUT THE DOOR....SO WE TOLD THEM TO CONTACT US LATER TO DISCUSS THE SITUATION....NO ONE CONTACTED US AT ALL!!!

“Nice room but dirty.”

Bathroom was never properly cleaned even after i complained. Dirty counter top, missing amenities (shampoo), really old towels (holes and ratty edges). Layout of room was good, comfortable bed, if only they could get someone to clean the rooms.

“I would love to go back”

well when I first came I was kinda nervous from some of the comments I had seen but my stay was really good. My room was really clean and everything was stocked and neat. Whirlpool was okay and so was the workout room machines were a little dated though, but everything was wonderful. Nothing to fancy but I really enjoyed the breakfast everything was good n hot. But I would most definitely go back.

“Excellent stay for the price”

The customer service that my family and I experienced far outweighed any minor issue that may have occurred. The hotel was very, very clean and very, very peaceful. It's tucked away nicely from the noise of the boulevard but not so tucked away that the location of shopping centers and restaraunts were not easily accesscible. When visiting the area again I will definitely stay there. My 90 year old mother even commented on how nice it was and the staff made sure that our rooms were convenient to the exits and that they were also convenient to one another. This hotel is definitely a keeper.

“Impressed”

I stayed there for 4 nights. Had a great time. Breakfast every morning was good, but I wished they had more fruit options rather than just apple. Room was clean and tidy. Staff were friendly. Surrounding neighborhood was nice with lot of options to dine. Hotel is not close to the road so quiet at night. They have a small lake in the back however inaccessible. I think it will largely benefit the hotel if they can make use the lake area. I like how they use white bed sets, so you can see how clean they are.

“Quiet and nice area close to lots of resturants”

We stayed three nights and was well pleased with everything. The breakfast was very good and plentiful no matter what time we ate. Our room was very comfortable in size and the bed was great. We plan to stay again next time we are in Montgomery.

Don't know enough about the city to make a recommendation. However the location of this hotel was fine.
When to go
I would recommend going in the spring of the year. Weather is nice and flowering trees are beautiful.

“really nice hotel for the price”

While I stayed there I did not have a single complaint everything was fine. Employees were very friendly and helpful.

Area recommendations
East side cause there are more shops and dining areas to choose from. It appeals more to travelers than any other area

“Wingate is a winner”

The Wingate was almost easy to get to. It is behind a sushi restaurant off of the main road. there is a very small sign at the street...but my Verizon gps got us there ok. The hotel staff was very nice. The hotel was clean. We had a nice stay. Breakfast was great.

Area recommendations
We were just passing through to Mobile...so we didn't visit the area.

“Nice friendly hotel”

Check was easy and the front desk was very friendly. Rooms were comfortable and the bed was GREAT.
