Pros: The hotel had a pleasant seating area at the back and also a swimming pool, which unfortunately we did not get time to try
Cons: For the price, this hotel ticked all the boxes
Location: It was very pleasant to wander through the narrow streets that made up the Place de Comedies where there were lots of interesting shops and churches.
This hotel was very conveniently situated at a couple of minutes walk from the station, all the tram routes and Place de Comedies - a pedestrianised central area with lots of lovely restaurants.

Good place to stay in the city.Posted Sep 22, 2013
Pros: Good location close to the historic centre, great to have a pool and outside terrace in the middle of the city.
Cons: Room was large and bathroom was small, both could do with a spot of refurbishment if I was being picky. Air con not very effective.
Location: The whole of the historic centre was within walking distance which was fab.
What a beautiful, clean and friendly city and this hotel was a fab base with everything we needed to explore the historic centre. You can do justice to this city in a couple of days or have more down time relaxing around the pool and take a bit longer.

Excellent freindly and helpful staffPosted Sep 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
Excellent hotel, Superb location. Extremely helpful and polite staff. Previous reviews have said the hotel is a bit tired, That is utter Garbage . The hotel has loads of character and would be ruined if modernised. Excellent showers and 5 english channels on TV. Small mini gym also The breakfast was a bit pricey but we just went to a local pattisserie for breakfast. Comedie can be pricey to eat so venture a little away from centre. Trams are amazing very clean and punctual. My daughter is at Montpellier III for 12 months so will be going back I will keep looking for best rates)

The rooms were nice, high ceilings, spacious. The pool was nice, although it looked bigger in the pictures. The staff was nice enough for France. Some spoke a little English, which was helpful.

Excellent hotel in a great location. Less than 5 minutes walk to the station, a range of shops, restaurants/cafes and great sightseeing.Very helpful, friendly staff. Place de la Comedie only 2 minutes walk away - a brilliant place to soak up the atmosphere and watch the world go by, sitting at one of the many restaurants/cafes.

Pros: The entrance lobby
Very good location and the staff were friendly and helpful. The hotel has 'old world' charm. The pool was great too!
