Worn but decent

Posted Apr 21, 2014
Standard room had a comfortable bed, small bath with shower well under 6ft high. Room is Ok, but decor rather worn, with chipped doors, toilet cistern runs sometimes and doesn't fill at others, nothing to see from hotel windows. Staff are helpful and pleasant.

Hotel Convenient to A9 Freeway in Montpellier

Posted Feb 18, 2014
Pros: Location, quiet
Cons: Food, cleanliness, bathroom product, bath towels, lobby and bar decor
Location: Good, direct road to freeway and airport and convention center. Tram to center of town
Hotel is well located and easy to find in a confusing city to drive around. staff is friendly and pretty efficient. Breakfast Buffet is OK-ish. Not worth 16EU if its not included in your room rate The rest of food is very nasty. I had the special of the day for dinner, grilled sole, and it was a reheated insult to the species.

Did the job

Nice reception and dining room. Reception very helpful printing off boarding passes etc. Location - easy to get to by car from main road. but a 15 minute walk from le Place de Comedie. Secure parking - but cost 10 Euro. Breakfast pricey at 16 euro. Twin beds were very close together. But Ulster beat Montpelier so we were all happy enough!

Vacation

Very good location for restaurant row ( in season) and short walk to Plaza Comedie and Old City Hotel staff very friendly and helpful.... could use a bit of paint and upgrading but what is there now is ok. Seems to be a problem in France in general that English TV channels for movies are non existent

AC unit didn't seem to go below a certain temp, so it was quite warm in the rooms...

Nice hotel. Excellent rates (no refund).

Posted Sep 8, 2013
Pros: Large enough rooms. Big TV screen. An excellent hotel with an excellent value for money when you book several weeks in advance without a refund option
Cons: Toilet and washbasin are in two separated rooms. very annoying. Internet connection could be faster.
Location: Very close to place de l'Europe tram station. 10 minutes walk from the city center.
A very nice hotel. Could use some style renovation for the rooms. When comparing to other hotels in Montpellier, staff could be more welcoming and friendly.
