Outstanding experiencePosted Apr 22, 2015
Location: Great restaurants nearby. Easy access to metro and busses. Lively environment and a great dose of French Canada.
Spent two weeks here. The concierge staff was outstandingly helpful every day in every way. We just can't think of anything that was a minus. Breakfast was more than adequate, location was outstanding, every thing we asked for was accomplished in a timely and courteous manner. A great property in a great city. Merci beaucoup.

Quaint hotel in old MontrealPosted Apr 11, 2015
Location: The hotel is within walking distance of all the sites in Old Montreal, restaurants and cafes, and the walkway along the river.
We had a lovely experience at Auberge du Vieux Port. The bilingual staff was very helpful and recommended places to visit. A very nice perk is that currency can be exchanged using your credit card, with no fees.

April stay in MontrealPosted Apr 5, 2015
Pros: We especially like the friendliness of the staff and the cleanliness and comfort of the hotel
Cons: There was one comfortable chair in the room. Perhaps there could be another but there was adequate seating with a desk chair.
Location: This location is in the middle of many sites and museums that we visited. Those reflect the history of Québec and the city of Montreal:
Who thinks of going North to escape the cold and snow of a long winter but we did. We were very happy and pleasantly surprised at how easy our daylong trips were from this nicely located hotel. The hotel is right on the boulevard across from the old port. The hotel staff was very friendly, polite and accommodating. They could not do more to enhance our stay and even upgraded our room to one on the front with a view of the port. This room was charming with a brick wall and wood floors evoking the periods past. We garaged our car for the 3 days of our stay and walked everywhere. There were many restaurants nearby and we also tried the one in the hotel which was very good.

In the heart of Old MontrealPosted Mar 16, 2015
Pros: The location is superb.
Location: The hotel is on Commune/St. Paul, right in the middle of Old Montreal, you are within steps to the Museum of Science, Museum of Art & Notre Dame
My only regret is that we stayed for one night! Quick get-a-way, and the weekend was lovely. The staff is exceptional. The room is very rustic/modern and comfortable, and very clean. The hotel is in the middle of all of the fantastic restaurants/bars. We can't wait to go back.

Excellent Stay, Excellent StaffPosted Mar 15, 2015
My stay was very nice and I loved everything about it. The shower was awesome and the bed was extremely comfortable. However, what was most pleasing was the staff, they were all very nice and accommodating I really regret not tipping the chamber maid as I forgot to do so. The only critic I have is that my room was cold and the heating system didn't seem to be controllable by the machine in my room. (Perhaps it was broken I do not know) but the staff offered a portable heater that helped me out. All in all, nice stay and included breakfast was really good.

Eating and late nightsPosted Mar 8, 2015
Pros: Small, intimate, beautiful and great location. Also i forgot my iPhone recharger, and the hotel had it sent to me in a very quick fashion!
Cons: it was all good!
We are a couple of chef's who were in Montreal on an eating tour. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, allowing us a later check out time as we were out all night exploring the city, eating and drinking. i am looking forward to another stay here, especially after the staff turned us on to a MOF designated patissier in the neighbourhood... ask them about it!
