Good hotel

Posted Aug 2, 2015
Pros: Staff, good spacious room, clean, lots of parking, excellent pillows....
Cons: mattresses were not top notch but were acceptable but pillows were fabulous....
Location: Good location, lots of restaurants close-by, shopping, convenient location....
It was really clean, good hotel staff that was very helpful and kind, we only slept one night, pillows were comfortable but mattresses were not the best, only ok.

Close to the Olympic Stadium

Posted Jul 3, 2015
Pros: The lobby was nice
Cons: Updating their decor in the rooms. Airing out the rooms.
Location: The location was great in that it was right by the subway. There's a mall across the street.
All in all, we got the hotel because it was close to the venue we had to attend. But if I had to rate the hotel, it was relatively clean, but the musty moldy smell did not impress me. Also, there are no elevators. There is only one exit to this hotel. Lugging your luggage was a nuisance.

On outskirts with easy subway access

Posted Jun 18, 2015
Pros: Nice amenities and great city access at a good price.
Cons: Just a little noisy because a group had arrived with kids running the halls.
Location: See the overall experience as my comments do not fit in this space.
If you don't mind driving through Montreal to get to this hotel/motel on the outskirts, it is a nice option. We loved the free parking and free, responsive wifi. The subway/metro is next door and in 15-20 minutes, we were in Old Montreal. We also went to Olympic Stadium in about 10 minutes and in another 10, to Mont Royal station where we caught bus #11 to the top of the mountain. And if you want to opt out of restaurants here or there, there is a Harvey's next door and a very nice mall across the street for food court or shopping. There is also a Loblaws 2 doors down for bottled water, coffee/muffins, wine, etc. The hotel was clean and people were nice- fluent in English and French. Outside of a bunch of kids running around on the second night, it was quiet. A very good option for us at a very good price.

Clean but older, motel type.

Good location in you need to be in the East part of the island, that's why I selected it.

Dramatisch

Posted Jun 9, 2015
Vieze, verouderde kamers. Beddengoed ziet eruit alsof het al veertig jaar meegaat. En de handdoeken zijn zo oud dat je er doorheen kunt kijken. Als klap op de vuurpijl kijken kamers aan achterzijde uit op elektriciteitscentrale.
