Beds were so comfortable

Posted Apr 19, 2014
Pros: Comfortable beds. Location
Arrived late because of traffic but check in was very quick. Room and bathroom were larger than a lot of others I have stayed in. Very good nights sleep as the beds were very comfortable. Location was very central.

Convenient Location

Posted Apr 18, 2014
Pros: Clean, comfortable and a quiet room & Resto Pub Serge Henri.
Cons: Attitude of staff at the hotel and Cora's.
Location: Old Montreal, Fire Station, Shopping centre, MAC, Science Centre, Notre Dame.
The hotel was clean and quiet. It's conveniently located a few blocks away from old Montreal. The parking across the hotel looked a little shady, but we had no problems with the car. What was also a bonus is the bar/restaurant attached to the hotel - Resto Pub Serge Henri. The staff there was pleasant and the food was good too. The hotel staff was a bit dismissive, and we did not receive good service at Cora's (also inside the hotel). that would explain why Cora's was so empty. Overall a good experience. The room was clean and comfortable. Will stay again for the price and convenience.

Very helpful, friendly staff

Posted Apr 6, 2014
Pros: Friendly staff, excellent location, clean accomodation.
I checked in early and after a relaxing nap, headed out to meet some friends at a nearby Irish bar. As it turned out, one of them insisted on my staying at his home so that I could visit with his daughter early the next day. Three of us returned to my room where we had a beer, collected my things, and left- leaving the room keys at the desk so that I would not have to return in te morning to check-out.

Great location, great price, but very basic.

Posted Apr 6, 2014
Pros: Great location. Great price. Hotel parking right across the street. Free wi-Fi.
Cons: Renovate the rooms and bathrooms. Include free parking, or at least less expensive parking. Better TV programs. No TV guide.
Location: Right downtown. Close to shopping, restaurants, museums and Old Montreal.
Window didn't open, so room couldn't get fresh air. Funny smell in the building. Could not control the room temperature, no thermostat in the room, could not receive a phone call from home after midnight as the call to the hotel went right to voicemail, so had to receive the call on my cell phone. Had noisy neighbours -- poor soundproofing from room to room.

Pros: Good location downtown but proximaty of Fire Hall
For business purposes this hotel is centrally located, has free wi-fi and a decent restaraunt for a reasonable price.

Very accommodating; clean and comfortable room. Furnishings are a little dated but fine for a night

Great location, close to everything!

Posted Apr 2, 2014
Pros: The location, the staff, and the price we got was great too!
Cons: The gym wasn't the greatest.
Location: Clubs, restaraunts, metro were all so close!
We stayed at the Best Western and loved it because it is right in the middle of all of the shopping, and night clubs. The service was great, and it was awesome having a Cora's in the building. Would stay there again for sure!

Great location

The hotel is at a prime location in downtown Montreal. Less than a 2 minute walk to the Bell Centre, and in the other direction, Sainte-Catherine for shopping! The front desk staff weren't very friendly, but I don't think anyone in Montreal really is super welcoming. The room was actually very nice, however the bathroom is EXTREMELY small. We were two small girls, so it was fine but the toilet is less than a foot away from the bathtub. The room was really quaint and comfortable. It had a mini fridge and lots of mirrors, which we loved! However, the coffee tasted pretty bad. I would 100% recommend this hotel, for the location, and its cleanliness!

Canadiens game

I booked this room for my 10 year old son and I for our visit to montreal to see the Habs play. Hotel is very close to the Bell center but construction in the area made the outside environment noisy. Room was smaller than the ad had shown but it served my purpose satisfactorily.
