great location

Posted Jul 23, 2014
Pros: great location
Cons: the a/c was very loud
Location: it is less than a block from Ste Catherine and walking distance to most everything
be sure to use the parking garage on Rue Stanley, very affordable ($28 for 2 day stay) and so close to the hotel it was well worth it

DO NOT let the staff put you in the attic rooms

Posted Jul 22, 2014
It was a nice hotel, clean, quiet, close to anywhere you may want to go. Just remember one thing, DO NOT check in the attic rooms. It was terrible ! ! ! It seems like there was a machine working next to the rooms. Very loud at night, cannot even fall asleep. How do you know which room is the attic room? Usually those rooms are located on the 7th floor, but the room numbers are appearing 670-675(something like that). You will have to take the elevator to the 6th floor, and then use the stairs to get to those rooms. Sometimes they oversell hotel rooms, so the late check in guests may have no choices.

Queen with Adam Lambert

Pros: soooooo quiet
Cons: I do not think anything could be improved, we were happy with everything
Location: downtown Montreal, shopping about 100 feet away on rue St. Catherine, St. Marie Chapel one block away, tours about two blocks away and great food
we had the most wonderful stay in Montreal, our hotel was fabulous, the concert was awesome and the food was to die for. I will take another vacation in Montreal and will recommend this Hotel and its helpful staff to any one going there...thanks...Lois K

Great location

Very convenient for us for shopping, nice places to eat, walk to the Bell Cente. Enjoyed it very much. Beds were comfortable. There was music next door one night & although we called the front desk it continued.

Good downtown location

Posted Jul 21, 2014
Pros: Convenient shuttle link from airport, good public transport within downtown, easy links to Old Town Montreal and walking access to Mount Royal Park.
Cons: Slightly tacky parking lot and back-yards surroundings it with some vagrancy. Signs of significant construction which could improve things.
Location: Good location for Metro, buses, airport shuttle and Tourist Information. Breakfast diner next door and two street eateries within fifty metres.
For a four-night stay for a family wedding at McGill Chapel the hotel was well located for us.

You have to pay for parking. Not in a safe area. Room was not that exciting. Room was being cleaned before we checked out.
