Deceiving pictures:

The hotel looks similar to holiday and hilton garden inns on picture...but not even close. Super tight shower, very dusty dark and very long asile....its more like a glorified expensive motel than a hotel

Great family hotel

Been there for two nights. Very pleasant experience. Clean rooms, a little beat outdated, nice neighborhood, fairly close to downtown. I would go again in the future.

First trip to Montreal. Really bad experience. Will do better job of shopping for hotel next time. No shuttle to airport. Located in warehouse area.

The wifi was bad and the roll away bed's mattress was very uncomfortable. Overall good experience though.

Days Inn Hotel near Montreal Airport

Posted Aug 22, 2014
Pros: The staff was friendly enough, but completely ineffective at resolving the transportation problem.
Cons: Providing a hotel shuttle to & from the airport. The hotel could also use some serious sprucing up.
Unfortunately, I stayed one night at this hotel while I was making my way to downtown Montreal for a conference. While the hotel was comfortable enough, it was dingy and drab. Moreover, while their website misleadingly advertises that they offer Airport shuttle service, they only offer this service for large groups, and leave individual travelers out to dry. When I called the hotel, from the airport, about scheduling a pickup, the receptionist told me they no longer offer the shuttle service for individual travelers, and recommended I take a taxi to and from the hotel. Given that the taxi meter started at $17.50, I was looking at potentially paying up to $30 each way. Had this been clearer, I would have made a different hotel decision, and was quite disappointed about being misled in this way. At a minimum, the hotel should specify that the shuttle service is for large groups. As a result of the deception, I will never step into that hotel again. Moreover, given that the larger chain allows such deception to take place, I am of a mind to also boycott every Days Inn Hotel.
