“Excellent location and comfort at a reasonable price”

I was given a spotless, attractive mini-suite (#814) that was perfect for my three-night stay. One of the nicest features of the suite is that the bedroom is separated from the hotel corridor by another door and thus it's truly possible to sleep undisturbed by other guests or the housekeeping staff. I usually visit Montreal once or twice a year and will not consider staying anywhere else after this experience.

The staff made our stay - very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great with lots of variety. We liked the mini-kitchen. Comfortable beds with choice of hard or soft pillows.

“Excellent Value, Comfortable Stay, Good Breakfast”

Had an excellent stay for 3 nights with my family of 5 (included 2 teens and and infant). The room was comfortable and clean, but furnishings were basic (no flat screen). It was essentially like a small 1 bedroom apartment including a kitchenette (full size fridge, microwave, counter and sink, but no stove). The double bed in the bedroom was very comfortable, the living room had a pull-out couch for the two teens (which the kids said was comfortable), and the hotel provided a crib for our baby. The breakfast buffet was excellent food, many selections, frequently replenished, but was a bit crowded finding a free table during the height of the morning rush. One downside, only 2 elevators, sometimes took a long time to get up and down during popular times. Also, we liked the location for it's reasonable proximity to Old Montreal (1/2 mile walk through Chinatown, but safe), but if you want to walk out the door and have restaurants right at your stoop this is not the place for you. Avoid walking down Rue Saint-Laurent (a few blocks away), its kind of a red light district, unless you are looking for that kind of thing. Overall, can't beat the price per night including a full breakfast for 5 people every day. No pool but we didn't care. Free wireless Internet. Charged for parking, not exorbitant, every hotel in area charges for this.

Very convenient to St. Denis and to the subway. We were given a free upgrade to a 2 bedroom suite-wow!!! breakfast was very good also! would definitely go back. Neighborhood is just okay, but this is really a non-issue due to convenience to everything else.
