Interesting architecture, great staffPosted Oct 28, 2013
Excellent stay, don't be fooled by the dated decor; rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. The location was perfect for us and the staff was helpful with all our questions.

Fine for what we were looking forPosted Aug 6, 2013
Pros: Wifi, mini fridge (empty), cable tv.
Cons: Curtains should block out the sun, tv size, sketchy people hanging around at night
Location: Berri-UQAM metro, lots of small cafes on Rue Saint-denis
My boyfriend and I stayed in this hotel for 3 nights for the Osheaga festival and we got exactly what we were looking for: a bed and bathroom in a convienent location (near the Berri-UQAM metro). This place is nothing special but you get what you pay for. Small room, small bathroom, small tv (20inches maybe?), no elevator. The breakfast consisted of toast/croissants and coffee available at the entrance, nothing exciting. I have a few complaints: we called twice to verify we could check in at 12 but when we arrived the room would not be ready until 1pm (thankfully they let us put our luggage in the room), you couldnt close the curtain completely so the room got very bright in the mornings, the room smelled strongly of cigarette smoke along with the mattress/sheets etc and there seemed to be a sketchy crowd hanging around the hotel in th evenings. I must say the few interactions we had with the staff were pleasant and without issue. Ultimately you get what you pay for and if all you need is somewhere to crash for 8hrs a night and aren't a female travelling alone (sketchy crowd..) I would say this hotel will meet your needs.

Good locationPosted Jul 13, 2013
Cons: Smells old
Maybe I was just lucky that my room was ok coz another customer I talked to is complaining about his room. Located is great, being near the Center of the action.

Bed Bugs and more...Posted Jul 4, 2013 on Hotels.com
If you have any concern for your well-being then please avoid this place. The sheets were dirty and the blanket had big spots on it. The sink in the bathroom was clogged at most times, the toilet had stuff from the previous guest I guess. Without doubt the dirtiest place I have ever stayed at, and I travel a lot...many a times staying at a budget hotel. The icing on the cake was the real big bedbug I caught in the morning. It was right there on my bed. I caught it and presented it to the lady at the front desk. She said she was surprised that there were bed bugs in the facility (although she din't look like being surprised at all). I went online and found a bunch of reviews with bedbugs written all over them. Please do yourself a favor, at any cost don't stay at this place. Simply not worth it.

An amazing place, great location, great staffPosted Jun 25, 2013
Pros: I love the fact that I always had water, my bed was like heaven to sleep on, the location and the staff was really nice.
Cons: I loved everything about this hotel, cannot complaint
Location: The location is convenient, you cannot go wrong with this location!
If you are looking for a room that has privacy, a bed that feels like heaven to sleep on and a place that is conveniently located, then stop searching because you have found that with 7 seasons. This hotel has become really special to me and next time I will book with them and tell my friends to book with them while in Montreal. Not only is it located in a very convenient area, in which you find, the subway station really close, the greyhound station a walk away and tons of places to eat really close, but the staff is really nice. I say that the staff is really nice from experience. Unfortunately, during my trip, I became sick and considering I was alone, I was not sure how things would turn out but it was so nice to have, a staff that was very attentive, very nice in offering their services and understanding of my needs. Definitely, I would say if you plan to travel alone, then rest assure because you are in good hands, at the 7 saisons!

Great location surrounded by must-see sightsPosted May 21, 2013 on Hotels.com
Although the Hotel 7 was a small Hotel, I thought that it was very cosy and cute. We were able to simply park the car (overnight public parking available for only $9 for 24 hrs) and walk everywhere. We went to the Old Port, Chinatown and a lot of shopping on Saint-Catherine. We even walked to go out for dinner and dancing at night and walked back after the club. Safe to say that I didn't wear heals that day. The only small complaint was that the shower was quite small, but to be expected in such a Hotel. Thanks Hotel.com and Hotel 7 for the great experience.
