“Great Stay”

Great staff/Clean room/Fun bar amd dancing. What else do I need on a night to escape?

“2nd Honeymoon.”

Hotel room was well appointed despite being an older building. Bedding was wonderful and all was immaculate. One of the few places where the room darkening drapes actually worked! We were there during the hockey season opening festival and one block over (on our side of the building)the "rink" was active until 11 at night but once the band stopped even the noise from that was not too bad. Would definately stay there again and we have stayed in most of the major hotels there. Great location!

“My favorite Hotel in The City of Montreal”

This was our first time staying at the Hotel de la Montagne. We were extremely satisfied with the comfort and cleanliness of our room. The bed was so comfortable that we slept like babies. The friendliness and helpfulness from the staff was remarkable. The price was resonable. The location was perfect. We were "right there". I can't comment on the food as we didn't eat there. We enjoyed the roof bar and the disco on the lobby floor. We never made it to the disco upstairs but the others commented on how much fun it was. This hotel has become our hotel of choice when we visit Montreal again.

“Classic Hotel!!!”

I have stayed at this hotel whenever I traveled to Montral over the last 20 years. It is a timeless beauty, decorated in the opulent style of the eary 1900's. Service throughout the hotel is at a high standard and the food is superb. The bar is linked to another bar/restaurant through an underground passageway. This affords a full array of restaurant and entertainment options. Overall, a fantastic value with superb service.

Great rooms. Good location near art museum, galleries, Crescent Street nightlife. Flat screen TV. Spacious rooms. Exceptionally nice bathroom.

“Wonderful Hotel and Staff”

This was our first visit to Montreal and the hotel and staff did not disappoint. From the doorman to the front desk to the cleaning staff, everything was 5 star. Our rooms were clean, spacious and everything worked. The staff was extremely helpful and made our stay very pleasant. The hotel is perfectly located within walking distance from the major shopping district and within easy access to several excellent restaurants. We will certainly consider the Hotel de la Montagne again.

“No complaints”

I was at a conference at the Sheraton around the corner but Expedia got me this one for less money. I was only there 2 days and didn't use any hotel facilities, except for wi-fi which worked instantly and exactly as needed until I checked out. Room was spacious and comfortable. That's all I needed.

“Would definitely return to this hotel”

There was another hotel that was set up for me to stay but I went through Expedia to get a better deal. Not only was my hotel less than half of the cost, it was a better hotel! The location was perfect to access my business venue as well as offering several excellent restaurants and clubs for the evening. I will be back!

“Fantastic location downtown”

Next to Cresent St., 1/2 block off St. Catherine in a great part of downtown. Everything in downtown is close, the deluxe King was comfortable, roomy, and the staff friendly and helpful. The bedding is deluxe and the room even had a balcony (I never used) and a lot of space. Well worth the upgrade. I'd stay here again.
