No frills but fine

Posted Jan 15, 2015
Stayed one night. It was nice because they had 24 hour check in and were ready for me when I got there. Towels were not clean at all but that's the only bad thing I can say

Dirty Hotel in a sketchy area.

Posted Jan 2, 2015
Hotel and room was filthy. The room smelled terrible. Way overpriced for the location, condition and cleanliness of the hotel room.

Road side view

Posted Dec 21, 2014
Pros: The people were nice
Location: Clubs
You can hear the person next room doing things. It wasn't very pleasant. People walking outside the door can be heard walking.

Very well localized next to Metro.

Posted Dec 20, 2014
This hotel is well localize, 2 blocks from the Saint-Laurent Metro Station. The room was ok, kind of old furniture and a weird smell on the corridors, but it was ok inside the room. Ask for a non-smoking room if you don't smoke because I had my room changed due to the smell of cigar in the first one that I was put in. The breakfast was simple but good and the price per night was fair (average of $65 taxes included).

Hotel Des Arts- Best Staff Ever

Posted Dec 18, 2014
Pros: Mostly the staff, everyone was very kind and helpful. The room was great, the hotel was quiet at night, beds were great.
Cons: I could see better TVs but of course I'm a Yank. Bigger pillows would be good.
Location: Hey, it's Montreal. One of the coolest cities there is. There were a lot of really good and affordable restaurants nearby and good parking.
The Hotel Des Arts was very affordable, the staff were super nice without exception, the room was great. Had a wonderful time there. I was there as a session musician working on a record at Hotel2Tango Studios in Mile End and I was under tremendous pressure. The Hotel was a wonderful, hassle-free respite every night.

Very basic hotel.

Posted Nov 30, 2014
Very basic hotel. No vending machines if your hungry, the vending machines for drinks was broken and didn't even take bills. Only change. The shower was leaking and making noise all night. Tried to call the front desk several times and no response. The walls were very thin therefore you could hear all surrounding sounds. If your looking for a place just for sleep this hotel will be fine. It's not expensive.

Hotel a éviter

Posted Nov 27, 2014
Pros: rien

Pros: Downtown location - Price
Cons: breakfast - vendor machine to get drinks (water)
Location: The location of the hotel between Ste Catherine, Sherbrook and St Laurent main arteries, is a very convenient.
The hotel mainly due its location offers a good deal for the price paid for a room.

Nice hotel for a quick weekend stay

Posted Nov 26, 2014
Pros: This is a nice, clean, well-kept hotel with great staff.
Cons: They could include a kettle, microwave, and/or an ironing board in the room.
Location: The location is central downtown so easy to travel around. There is a gas station, convenience store, and restaurants/bars close by.
I experienced great customer service for there three days I stayed at the hotel. I came for a short getaway and this hotel met the fare.
