Not a bad place to stay

Posted Jul 18, 2014
This hotel is ok. Good for a quick stay in Montreal. It has everything you need, And it is walking distance to rue st.catherine, rue st.laurente (downtown). The only downfall is no parking on site and the hotel is on a hill. Parking is 10$ If lot is not full and 24$ for the other lot which is underground parking. There is about a 3 minute walk from the hotel to the parking lot.

Good location...zero parking

Posted Jul 10, 2014
we booked this hotel through Expedia knowing it was a soso option. the price was good and the location excellent for our purposes. 3 days was plenty of time for us in Montreal...international Jazz festival ws 4 blocks away...food near by...really great staff and the most important amenity. .Dog friendly...though the city is not a great place for dogs. nice to check this off the bucket list!

Clean and reasonable, walking distance to jazzfest

Decor is outdated but overall place was clean, staff was friendly and price was reasonable and we were close enough to jazz fest. Nice to have free albeit low budget breakfast included

Great location and great price

Posted Jul 3, 2014
We were 2 blocks from the festival so we could rest from the heat during the day and had a short walk back to our room after the day was done. We were walking distance from the Eaton Center where we enjoyed the new Le Grevin wax museum and had a blast. We had a roomy place to stay and a oh so comfy bed. And a breakfast was served every morning with plenty of choices without having to go out first thing in the morning. The staff was friendly and helpful. A nice price and a nice location for being right near all the festival activities downtown.

Smelly room, insects are all around, rotten breakfast. I definitely do not recommend this hotel for anyone!

Disappointing

floor is not flat; you can easily make a lot of noise. Room has unpleasant smell. It is located in quite a sketchy neighbourhood. Breakfast is okay for that price.
