“Great for the price”
nice and super clean hotel, it's true that you need a car if you wanna stay there but it's conveniently located on l'ile charron
“In the deer's land!”
No doubt, it's time for an overall renovation for the hotel, to make it looking younger! Nevertheless, the administration were maintaining a decent level of a nice looking ambiance, reinforced by a super kind attitude from the receptionists and the personnel. The hotel is in the heart of a preseved regional park, on an island, crossed by a highway. We spent 6 quiet days, without any problem. Given that the hotel is backed by the woods, it was so pleasent to stop the car, on our way for dinner, and quietly take pictures of the deers searching for premature green branches! Other guests were sharing us that happy moment in their cars too! I would recommend this hotel for the people that do not insist on the fancy facets of hospitality, but rather on the human warmth of receiving guests and the total comfort without too much bling bling! After all, we're receiving the newspapers and the continental breakfast daily. If this space is dedicated to mention the bright and the dark face of the place, I should advise the other travellers to have or rent a car during their stay, or call for a taxi for their trips. Definitely, I would go back any time, without hesitating.
“Nice location”
Good for staying with families. Little far from down town or old Montreal but nice and quite location beside the river. We enjoyed our stay there.
“Okay”
We made the hotel reservation through the Expedia "Unpublished rates" discount option getting a rate about half of the normal nightly rate. The hotel was rated at three stars. Upon arrival, the parking lot and lobby we dirty and in disrepair. The room was relatively comfortable and clean and the staff were helpful. However, I would rate this hotel at best a 2 1/2 or 2 until they invest in some repair work and deep clean.
“Good Hotel. Car a must.”
This hotel had a weired ambiance. The lobby was empty as were most of the conference rooms. On our first morning they were out of breakfast before we could get something to eat. Staff was friendly and efficient. Room was clean. Free parking is convenient. No public transport available. Car is an absolut must!
“good location but poor keeping ....”
Very comfortable bed - high class BUT AWFUL PILLOWS.- hard non flexible , you wake up with a sorrow neck or even broken neck. Morning breakfast: poor service - to be improved and put in charge somebody who can welcome people.....and help people... Outside - grounds to be cleaned, grass mowed etc...... Wonderful location.
“A bit far from the city, but affordable clean place to stay”
Unlike the description on Expedia, this is NOT in the downtown area of Longueuil. It is about a ten minute drive away and so planning to go into downtown Montreal takes a bit more planning (still doable though). Staff was very friendly. Do not get a room on the second floor during the weekend because you will hear all the music from the wedding reception on the first floor. If you book through Expedia or another website, the reservation does not include breakfast and there is not a close place nearby. Only thing off this same exit is a beautiful nature preserve. However, was clean and comfortable place to stay.
“Quiet but still close to downtown”
The rooms looked very clean but well-worn. They're probably due for a renovation. I also found my room a little on the chilly side - the window heater couldn't keep up. The complimentary breakfast special they were doing was a pleasant surprise - good food, though the woman running the place was a little grumpy. But the best part about the hotel was its proximity to the park/nature reserve on the island. It was wonderful to go for a walk through there after a busy day of meetings!
“OKAY”
Just OKAY for how much the cost of the hotel was for me.
“Passed it's Prime.”
This hotel is on a Island and good if you have a car. Large building, clean rooms and limited breakfast selection. I think this hotel passed it's prime time, with little maintenance and attention to details this could be a good place to stay close to Montreal without worrying about parking and other city hassles.
