Very nicePosted Feb 18, 2014
Pros: We booked a basic queen room at a good rate, and ended up with a large king room with a full kitchen.
Cons: Insulation in the walls and / or better windows.
Would have been a 5, but the room was a little on the cold side, and did not really warm up. (It was a cold windy night in Montreal, but not bitterly so for that city). I don't want to overdo this issue - still giving it a 5. The room was not frigid, but it was on the cool side.

Rude staffPosted Feb 18, 2014
Didn't enjoy my experience. Staff was very inconsiderate and rude. Would not recommend.

Nice Hotel, Near DowntownPosted Feb 12, 2014
Cons: Windows could be a little more insulated. In Winter you get a little cold draft in the bathroom.
Nice place, clean, full kitchen included. Nice service. Will go back for sure next time I'm in Montreal.

Pros: It has its own style !
Cons: nothing at all

What and amazing little hotel. For randomly booking one night out of our 4 day trip. This was the best random decision ever made.!! If you get the chance stay here!!

Great service, room fully equippedPosted Dec 1, 2013 on Hotels.com
The room was so well equipped we could have comfortably lived there for weeks. The staff were very obliging, including providing complementary hot coffee when we came in from the negative temperatures outside.

Staying at Hotel Kutuma was an unexpectedly great experience. My girlfriend and I loved the spacious room and cozy feel. The African-themed decor was nice and the room had a lot of seating space for us to have friends over. The only 2 downsides were that our room did not have a bidet (which I was really looking forward to experiencing for some reason, I thought I read that it came standard with the room) and that our massage shower didn't have properly working jets from the side panels...but that was unnecessary to begin with and the shower was okay otherwise. All in all, I would highly recommend it.

Loved our stay at Hotel KutumaPosted Nov 11, 2013 on Hotels.com
It's a small, well-kept property on the plateau. Great location for walking and eating -- be sure to go to the bulle au carré creperie a block away just past Square St Louis! Well-appointed room, great kitchenette and small dining area right in the room. Large and comfortable bathroom, an the ed pillows were amazing! Some sort of deep, formfitting foam. Loved them. The only potential problem could be the lack of an elevator -- not a problem for us but could be for those with limited mobility. The desk clerk happily carried our suitcase up the the 3rd floor.
