The pictures of the hotel are not accurate. There were stains all over the carpet, the room smelled weird and there was no remote for the heat so the heat was not on. The fridge also was not plugged in so when you opened it, it had a terrible smell. Would not recommend

Believe the comments, this hotel is terrible, nowhere near worth the $116 per night I was charged through Expedia. The desk staff were lovely, kind, friendly. But the place is a dive. Filthy lampshades, filthy everything. I think it was actually safe enough to be there, but my nervous system felt fear there. No fresh towels/facecloths on middle day. No possibility for refund from Expedia. Spend the extra $25 per night and stay at the holiday Inn nearby.

This is the worst hotel I have stayed in Canada. The room was dirty (I think the carpeting was never cleaned), bad smell, hair and garbage everywhere, dirty coffee maker (coffee was probably brewed a few weeks ago and not even a cup was removed from the coffee maker). to our request to clean the room, we received an answer that either we live in it or we can find another hotel.

Horrible stay
We checked in late around midnight and had to leave at 5:30 am because we couldnt sleep. It rigged cigarette and dirt. The sheets and entire room eas immersed in cigarette smell wven thiugh there is a sign in the room forbids smoking.i had to spay a lor of perfume to mask the ordour but 30 nins later it was back 4 days later i still have the room smell in my mouth. Spoke to the desk manager about it and all he said was ok and didnt even look in my direction

Staff was friendly. Bedding was clean. There were gross cobwebs on the ceiling, a plastic spoon in the AC unit, water wouldn’t turn off completely in the tub. The property looks old and dingy. I had requested a downstairs room with outside access due to having dogs and enjoying the ease of using the outer door for them. I had to pay an extra $30 not get a room with two double beds on the main floor then $20 each for each of my two dogs. By the time I paid those I didn’t really save anything by staying here. It felt very desolate and sketchy. The back rooms are surrounded by asphalt and are not that helpful for walking dogs. You also couldn’t unlock your door from the outside causing me to have to leave the door ajar when walking the dogs so as not to have to take them through the hotel. The staff were super nice and you can tell they’re doing the best with what they have but this place needs some major improvements. It’s not worth it. Go somewhere else.

The check in & check out are pretty simple. It is a motel renovated into a "hotel", therefore most of the condition are still in its motel level. My room is at third floor and obviously no elevator for that. And the room is pretty simple despite the price. My room is actually cleaner than I think. The area is quiet and peaceful.

We only stayed few hours each day, the bathtub was not clean there were hairs. We found cups of coffee used. The beds were clean but the general cleaning not so good

The rooms were not cleaned well and smelled. The first room had hair in the beds from previous guests, the second room smelles terrible. The third room (all in the first evening) at first glance was clean, but had hair all over the bathroom floor and dust from recent renovations piled up on some surfaces. Our expectations were not high, as we booked a cheap room, as we only needed a place to sleep and shower. Even our low expectations were not met.

I was in hurry to book a hotel so when i saw the pictures on the Expedia website it showed the hotel was nice with roomy rooms and up to date amenities. I booked the hotel, when we arrived, i thought we came to a wrong building because it was so old and from the lobby we could see it wasn't a nice place. When we got the key to the room and opened the room door we smelled a very bad odor of smoke and old room. Immediately i talked to the receptionist and changed the room. The new room smelled also but it was better than the first one. The room wasn't like the pictures i saw on Expedia website which was nice, big and looked new. The room was small, old, smelly and needed a lot of upgrade. We had to stay for the night because it was late. Next day i contacted Expedia to cancel and reserve somewhere else but they told me the hotel should agree to a refund and cancelation. They contacted the hotel but i didn't get a resolution until we left the hotel. I thought when we book a hotel with Expedia we have an extra layer of protection in case we have problems like this but i was wrong. Expedia did nothing for us and we have to stay at a crappie hotel for $395. The pictures are very deceiving, when you book you can't do anything about it. I will not recommend this hotel and will not recommend to book through Expedia because if you don't have any protection why using Expedia? Just book directly through the hotel website unless it's cheaper. Expedia loosing us as a customer for sure.

Room was newly redone and very clean. Non smoking inside the building but you could still smell both cigarette and marijuana smoke coming into the room. Outside was very dirty, full of cigarette butts in containers outside rooms and on the ground. Building materials on the ground. Old mattresses left by garbage container. Grass uncut. Flowers unattended. When booking online, I had stated I was travelling with a Guide dog in training. They charged me a pet fee and did not provide a ground floor room as requested. I had also spoken to them about this by phone. Room pass card was a $20 deposit and had the room number on the card. Only 1 pass card provided. This pass card only opened the door inside the hallway but not the outside door.

Dank and Dark hotel is Loud and Dirty
This is the dirtiest and loudest hotel I have been to in decades. Located in a desolate lot next to the highway, it's strewn with trash outside, mattresses left in the rain, trash and construction materials left after some half repair job. The room was humid with sticky carpets, wet floor by the AC, and moldy tiles in the bathroom. The ceiling vent was bent and jammed into the drywall. We stayed on a weekend and it was loud with partiers roaming the halls and yelling to each other late at night. The hotel bar was a sad, dank hovel with locals going broke on slot machines and doing shots. While packing up, we found a half used vaporizer under the bed, among the scattered trash that I didn't dare to explore any further. Especially considering it wasn't even that cheap, I can only warn travelers to stay away from this dive.

The only good thing about this place was the Asian lady at the front desk that checked us in and out. She was courteous. However, the hallways, the rooms etc. are terrible and needs urgent attention. They said they are doing renovations, but there are ways to do renovations and still have the place looking hospitable! They money I paid for both rooms was not near worth it, but it was already late and we were tired, so we didn’t have time to drive around Montreal looking for somewhere else. The pictures are all deception. Something on the bed also bit my wife(not sure if it was bedbug). Go somewhere else if you can!!

Originally i had asked for a junior suite but due to construction i was upgraded to a executive suite. I was pleased with this until i went to use an outlet behind the stand to find it dirty and continued to browse and notice the entire room was only surface clean. Looks like it had not been deep cleaned in years.

Good basic hotel. Nothing fancy and the rooms have not been renovated in a while, but decent price, secure, comfortable bed and handy location right off the highway.

Well past its prime.
The carpeting and furnishings throughout were stained and worn. The tiles in bathroom areaa were broken. The bed was very firm. Missing ceiling lights. The door lock was faulty. Was definitely not woth the rate i paid.

The hotel is very out dated. Needs renos all over. Very dirty and dark over all. Somebody's hairs on the bed sheet and somebody's winter socks on a chair. Hated to stay in. Terrible exprience. I don't recommand.

We were greatly disappointed upon arrival from our long drive from toronto. The room was dirty window was broken and taped up room wasnt cleaned after first night had to ask for clean towels coffee maker no hot water restaurant was closed. It was high priced and staff member in bar was rude when asked for cream for a coffee they didnt have ready. Pictures are not what you get. Discusting. Wont be back
