Really nice Hotel, right Downtown MontrealPosted Aug 13, 2014
The Hotel is close to everything you want to do, it's very clean, great staff, we parked the car and did not need to use it until it was time to come home, the only drawback is the parking as it can get very expensive. Great experience overall, will definitely stay there again !!

Good location with comfortable roomPosted Aug 13, 2014
Pros: A light, spacious room at a great location.
Location: Very close to McGill University and some large department stores (Hudson Bay, Les Ailes); other destinations easily accessible by Metro.
The room at the Hotel Omni Mont-Royal was extremely comfortable: it was spacious and had large windows that filled the room with natural light. The bathroom, too, was large, with ample counter space. There was also a bidet. The Omni is located close to two Green Line Metro stations (Peel and McGill), which made it easy to travel about the city. A nice touch: the first night we were there, the desk sent up milk and cookies for my children before bedtime.

When we arrived at about 2:30 pm my ten year old son was sick (literally, in the lobby) and therefore were anxious to get into our rooms. We needed two rooms, and one of them was ready but the other was not yet ("busy time, sold out last night and tonight," etc.). We were told it would be ready soon, hopefully by 3:30 or so. We went up to the first room and my son got showered and we waited. It was 5:00 pm before the second room was finally ready, and we had to call the front desk to find out. We then had to wait for what seemed like an eternity for the keys to be brought up to us. After that unfortunate beginning, everything was fine. The location is great - walking distance to lots of shopping and restaurants. Beds were very comfortable. Room and bathroom were clean. Valet parking was not cheap but at least we had unlimited in and out privileges.

Great location right downtown.Posted Aug 12, 2014
Pros: The very helpful staff.
Location: Many different shops, boutiques and unique restaurants. Also your common chain restaurants like Tim Horton's and Harvey's. Metro station located near.
I stayed at the Omni Mont-Royal during my first stay in Montreal. It had a great location downtown close to lots of shops and restaurants. It was also located very close to a subway station which was helpful in getting us to and from a concert we were in town for very quickly. The staff at the hotel were very kind and helpful. There was a delay with us checking in and we were given vouchers for a free drink at their bar. The room was very clean and the bed was exceptionally comfortable. I really enjoyed my stay here and would definitely book her in the future.

Beautiful viewsPosted Aug 11, 2014
Pros: I liked the bathrobes provided for personal use.
Cons: The water pressure in the taps was minimal. The shower was perfect and the water hot. Paying extra for wi-fi in your room at a major hotel, pathetic.
Location: Location is excellent within easy walking distance to shopping, restaurants, museums and other attractions.
Check in was flawless. I was given a very nice room on the 27th Floor with beautiful views of Mount Royal. The location was peaceful and quiet. The room decor was neutral which I felt had a calming effect. Television reception was excellent and the closet had plenty of hangers for clothing. There was almost everything a guest needed to make the stay pleasant. The coffee maker was efficient and the choice of Wolfgang Puck coffee was much appreciated. I think this was the best coffee I have had from a hotel coffee maker. The room was spotlessly clean, the sheets clean and fresh, and the pillows fresh-smelling and comfortable. I used Room Service on my last night and must say that the food was delicious, generous, and delivery was prompt and cheerful.

In the middle of many places.Posted Aug 9, 2014
It was nice hotel but everything other than the room is additional (breakfast, wifi...)and the hotel bar was very expensive. There are no prices on the menu for the bar, we made an expensive mistake :(

Pros: Decor, service etc. was very good
from shopping on St. Catherine's Street which is amazing. Beats Robson Street in Vancouver by leaps and bounds. My girlfriend and I are planning our next shopping trip next fall! Luv it!
