Choose wisely for your hotel

Posted Jul 30, 2015
Pool closes at 9pm which to us is a bit early for that in the summertime. If you wait in line and there are people at the front desk ... they should take care of the people standing in line rather than doing some misc stuff. I would go to a place closer to the seaway and by Notre-Dame.

Perfect location for Just for Laughs

Posted Jul 29, 2015
Pros: Location, rooms were quiet, valet was helpful, housekeeping was always accommodating.
Cons: Update bathroom in rooms. They were clean and sufficient but in comparison to the rest of the hotel being up to date the bathroom was dated.
Location: Location was perfect for Just for Laughs but also for our touring during the day. Metro was right there, Old Montreal within walking distance.
We stayed here during the Just for Laughs festival and found it perfect for our needs. Staff was friendly, knowledgeable, and professional.

Ordinary place, good location

Posted Jul 26, 2015
The hotel is just like every other Hyatt, Marriott, Hilton, Sheraton, etc, etc. There is no particular charm to the place, nothing distinctive, but it is certainly adequate. The staff are very friendly and helpful, the swimming pool is small but fine for kids, and the location is fine. Across the street is the Museum of Contemporary Art, definitely worth a visit, and the old city, with its great restaurants, is a quick taxi ride or long stroll.

On Day Montreal Trip

Posted Jul 13, 2015
Pros: Very good Location.
Cons: Update the Bathroom
Location: Good Restaurant, Shops, Museum... Heart of the Down Town.
Modern, Stylish and Updated hotel Lobby... However... Hallway, Rooms, Especially the bathroom is very dated. Not enough water pressure when shower. Very Disappointed for a Hyatt...

Great stay at the Regency Hyatt

Posted Jul 11, 2015
It was my second time in this hotel and my experience there was great. I traveled to Montreal due to the Jazz Festival. The location is extremely convenient and even that the hotel was full of guests the staff service was friendly, in all aspects. Breakfast was great, business centre was useful, and I visited the gym twice and it was good too.
