“Perfect for Visiting Montreal”
Very impressive hotel close to Centre-ville shopping and the sights of Old Montreal. Our price was great booking through Expedia but didn't include parking or breakfast. Great coffee place right next door which was not expensive. Well worth the price.

Montreal is an exciting city. The InterContinental, is, as always, a very nice place to call home for a few days. But, be prepared to walk a bit...if you want to shop or bar-hop.

We had a nice and relaxing stay. The hotel rooms had comfortable beds and spacious and clean bathrooms. The concierge was not friendly and not helpful at all.
“Great Modern Hotel on edge of Old City”
This Intercontinental is a very nice large modern hotel, with sort of a boutique look lobby. Very nice! I wanted to stay there during my 2nd trip, but they were booked up. Nice large room with K-cup coffeemaker! Very comfortable beds, nice large flat screen tv with English & French channels. Nice bathroom, with speaker so you can listen to the TV! Hotel is attached to RES system of underground walkways and shops; convenient for Metro, too. Short walk to the heart of the Old City & Old Port area, but also only a few blocks from Chinatown & Ste Catherine St Shops. Very helpful staff, great Susan B absinthe bar, nice restaurant with large wine stock.

Very good hotel, whithin walking distance from main downtwon attractions. Spacious, clean and well maintained room, friendly staff. Good restaurant with reasonable prices with attached bar.
“Fantastic modern home in the heart of the old port”
Absolutely gorgeous hotel, with amenities to boot! The beds are luxurious and the staff will bend over backwards to get you what you need. We requested a fan late one evening because we love to sleep to with circulating air and we were promptly brought a large fan despite the late hour. Fitness facilities were nice and the Sarah B absinthe is a must-try! Don't bother with other four-star hotels in the area. This is clearly the best.

Extremely nice staff!
“Comfortable and convenient.”
We enjoyed our stay at the Intercontinential in Montreal. We easily walked our selves and small luggage to / from the Amrak station via the Underground. We took advantage of the hotel's offer to become a "member" of their in-house club for one day @ $60. This allowed us to get our share, well, maybe more than our share, of drinks, cheeses, snacks, internet. Staff throughout the hotel were friendly, competent. Of course French was spoken -- you are in Montreal afterall. English was also readily available among staff but being in this hotel and in Montreal reminds us of being in France. Truly enjoyable.
