Great location when visiting montrealPosted Jul 25, 2015
The hotel is in the heart of downtown Montreal. Rooms are nice, bathrooms are standard, facilities are well kept. Some of the personnel at the front desk and concierge had a slightly attitude. Besides that the experience with this hotel was nice

Excellent Hotel; Breakfast - not great.Posted Jul 22, 2015
Pros: Everything except the breakfast.
Cons: The breakfast buffet and morning waiters.
Location: Very close to Old Town and Old Port. Must see Notre Dame and archeology museum.
I would rate the hotel excellent in every category. The room was huge and beautiful, as was the bathroom. The beds were extremely comfortable and the room and hotel were very quiet. There was a huge storm on our first night there, and we didn't hear a thing! The robes were very nice as well. All of the hotel staff were excellent. Where the hotel lost some points with us was for the breakfast. It was $24 CAD per person, which was terribly overpriced. The buffet room was very nice and had a wonderful set up, but they were out of most food items, just a couple of plates and zero glasses even though it was nearly an hour before the buffet ended. Our waiter never offered us water and did not come back to check on it. Those of us who had plates or glasses were forced to take them back up to the buffet when they finally did bring out an additional food item. We even tried to get water for ourselves from the pitchers at the waiters' station, but alas, there were no glasses. Finally, the scrambled eggs were extremely runny. Perhaps this is how eggs are enjoyed in Canada, but they were not made in the American style. I will say the fried potatoes that they finally brought out at the end were very good, and the French bread was excellent! Finally, we wanted to book massages at the hotel spa, but no one answered when we called, and no one returned our voicemail asking to make massage appointments. We also did not even get to see the pool, due to limited hours.

Great location opposite convention ctr & Bistro'sPosted Jul 22, 2015
Pros: Staff, location, rooms and food.
Cons: Not allowing pets.
Location: Opposite the convention center and close to shops and Bistro's
Let me also say the room cleanliness was excellent, even though i rated it low as i am allergic to dogs and saw many people at this hotel with dogs, so obviously they were in their rooms which means at some point i'm sure there was an animal in my room which i find disgusting. Separate "dog rooms" need to be provided to those who can't leave their dogs at home and clean rooms for the rest of us. Check in was very easy and the check in desk staff were extremely pleasant. Nice small bar next to reception and a dining room next to that. Buffet breakfast was pretty good, fresh made omelette and fried eggs on demand and nice fruit and bread selections. Room was a good size with very comfortable beds and large bathrooms with separate shower cubicle and tub. Let me also say the room cleanliness was excellent, however, i gave it 3 points as i am allergic to dogs and saw many people there with dogs in their rooms which means at some point i'm sure there was an animal in my room which i find disgusting.

Great location, nice room, good breakfast!Posted Jul 19, 2015
Pros: Friendly staff, very nice spacious room, good breakfast and great location
Cons: Option of a bright light in the room and timely housekeeping
Location: Walking distance to Old Montreal (shops, bars, restaurants and the waterfront) and across from the metro station (although not clearly marked).
Pleasant welcome at reception with plenty of information provided. Hotel had embraced the Canadian F1 Grand Prix weekend with its decor, Scalextric track, free gifts, etc. Nice big clean room but would benefit from a decent light! Excellent breakfast and good service throughout except that housekeeping were always late in cleaning our room and one day they were just too late as they had not cleaned our room despite us being out all day. They were also late in coming to pick up our laundry so we missed the deadline but they did redeem themselves with doing our laundry overnight and not charging us. Good coffee shop downstairs if breakfast not included. Superb location for the metro and easy walking distance to shops, bar and restaurants in Old Montreal.

Sonewhat dissapointing stayPosted Jul 12, 2015
The dissapointing aspect of this hotel was the not so well cleaned bathroom. The shower had mold and the shower floor had mildew. In addition to that, housekeeping during our stay was bad. Our bathroom was never cleaned and trash was left in garbage cans around the room. The hotel is in a convenient location but definitely not the quality hotel I was expecting.

Cons: Near Chinatown which is dumpy
Location: Since subway system great, Victoria station very close and you can get anywhere from there and it's a breeze to navigate
Great hotel, but think I would have preferred to stay downtown. But everything in close proximity
