“Will definitely use this hotel on my next trip to Montreal.”

Not fancy but very clean and comfortable. Nice rooms with full kitchens (a big plus for me) and a really nice breakfast room with complementary breakfast. The pool is really nice too!

“montreal”

When i made the reservation i was skeptical about this hotel. But it turned out to be good one. Close to the downtown and even though it was right opposite to the Holiday Inn and Delta Montreal, the rates were very much decent. The kitchen is definitely is a bonus, considering that i have an infant. On the whole i would definitely recommend this hotel .

“Very nice small hotel”

Excellent location on Sherbrooke Street across from a large Delta Hotel and a Holiday Inn. Quiet room with a small kitchenette with a fridge, microwave and small cook top. Very comfortable bed and a large desk work space with included free wi-fi. The included breakfast with cereals, pastries, bagels, coffee, juice and hard boiled eggs was sufficient to start the day and was served in a ground floor room with lots of light and plenty of seating.

“Had a great time”

We just got back from Montreal and this hotel proved to be a good choice. The location was great...only a couple of blocks from Metro, taxis are always available( thnx to Holiday Inn across d street) and bus services right in front of hotel. The front desk people were very nice and helpful. The continental breakfast was a big help since we were always on the go...saved time..and the selection was decent. The rooms were spacious. The kitchenette was a plus. The only, only complaint I have is the condition of the carpet. It really needs to be spot cleaned or replaced. We will definitely be back!!!

“Good Option in the area”

Not new, but it is kept in good condition. Breakfast is correct, enough choice and well maintained the only negative aspect is the noice from other room. I'm not sure if my neighbord was listening TV loud or the soundproof was poor but I had a night where it was really disturbing

“very pleased”

Our hotel experience was very pleasant. The room had a nicely equipped kitchenette that was very useful. The room was clean and comfortable. The pool was clean and clear and the rooftop terrace had a lovely view of the surrounding area. Our room had a balcony that faced the front of the hotel, which is on the main street. Just a block away from McGill Univ. and many college students everywhere. There was a very nice comp. breakfast, better than the usual offerings. The staff were very professional and pleasant. We had a great time there and higly recommend it and will go there again on our next trip.

“can't wait to return”

the staff is professional and extremely helpful. we were unable to find the under-ground parking due to construction in the city and the staff politely offered to take care of the matter. this is our second visit there and will be coming back!!!

“A Decent Stay”

We spent a week in Montreal. This hotel was our home base. The room had everything we needed and the small kitchen came in handy. The continental breakfast each morning provided us the perfect fuel to start our day. The location is extremely convenient. Many museums, restaurants, and the jazz fest headquarters are within a short walking distance and there are metro stops within walking distance as well. If you are looking for basic, affordable accommodations then this hotel is a fine choice.

Getting around

Get a Metro pass. The train is easy to use and stops near all of the must-see places.

Must see

The botanical garden is one of the finest in the world. The Redpath Museum is an excellent museum for those who are into natural history. It's not a huge museum but it has the feeling of stepping back in time. Biodome and Biosphere are also worth a visit especially for those who enjoy science. I found Old Montreal to be a big disappointment. The architecture is really cool but it was riddled with cheesy tourist shops... a waste of time.

Events and shows

The jazz festival is an amazing experience. If you're on a budget, there are tons of free shows that are just as awesome as the ones that require tickets. The festival is organized, clean, and safe. Ulike many music festivals, there aren't a bunch of obnoxious drunks all over the place.

“Convenient location, good sized rooms, comfortable”

The hotel is very well located right on the central road (Sherbrooke Road) of Montreal that is a 5-10 minute drive to the old Port area where there are lots of bars and restaurants. We had a one bedroom apartment that was spacious, clean and very comfortable. The bathroom was a bit small, but otherwise, the suite was good value for the money.

Vieux Port, The Biodome, Rue Denis, Mont Royal Parc

Must see

The Viex Port area is beautiful and very lively in the evening, when the bars and restaurants come alive. Take a walk down the main street and if you're more adventurous, walk down to China Town.
