Very nice hotel. Everything we expected.

The room was great. Very comfortable and clean with lots of extra touches that made it seem a bit more luxurious. The hotel staff was very nice and helpful.
“A complete delight! Fabulous Food!”
A complete delight! Fabulous Food!
“great european feel”
Had a lovely 4 night stay with my daughter. Easy walking distance to downtown and all of old town. Great ammenities and service. Very helpful and friendly front desk staff. Make sure to plan a weeknight visit to steam in the Hamman at the spa.

“It was like being a princess...”
Awsome rooms, great service, friendly staff that make you feel you were a movie star!!!
“Great Hotel in a Great Location”
We went to Montreal for a weekend in April and stayed at the Place D'Armes. We would definitely stay there again. The rooms are large, clean, and quiet, although a bit dim with the mood lighting. The staff was friendly and helpful. The food at the restaurant was so fabulous, we didn't mind paying the large bill for it. The continental breakfast included hard-boiled eggs, which was a nice touch. The hotel is across the street from the Basilica Notre Dame, which you have to see. Try to go when the organ is playing or the chior is practicing.
“The warm, friendly and undeniably classy gem of Old Montreal”
The hotel provided superb service accompanied by an extremely helpful staff and a great little lounge where everyday you were welcomed to a glass of wine and a selection of cheese from 5-7. The rooms were spacious and inviting with classical music playing softly as you enter your room. Would I recommend it? Definitely. Will I go back? Most certainly.
“Fine Montreal Hospitality”
We spent three nights at Le Place d'Armes Hotel & Suites. The hotel has recently been refurbished so that was a plus. The service was excellent, staff friendly and helpful. The location is fantastic in easy walking distance of everything in Old Montreal. We definitely recommend.
“Perfection all the way!!”
What a place to be. Everything you see and read about it on Expedia is true. All the Information you need, the knowledgeable staff will provide it for you.The contemporary style of the Place D'Armes is just what we've been looking for. The Rooms are most comfortable, including the bed. The bathroom is amazing with the huge shower. We stayd there for one week and from the first to the last day, we felt most welcomed and appreciated at all times. So much friendlyness and superior service in one place - what else can you ask for. By the way, the included breakfast was soooo good with those little french pastries, and the breakfast room itself is just a piece of Art too. In the evening, from 5 o'clock till 7'o clock you have complimentary cheese and wine, which we really enjoyed. At night they close your curtains, dim your lights, turn the music on and but some chocolate on your bedside (Lindt), what a "sweet treat", and provide you with the weatherforcast for the next day.(great for planing your next day!). So after a long day out you feel relaxed right away. We liked all these little "extras", everything was so thoughtful. The only "problem" we had was with the roomkey, every second day it just did not work and we had to get a new one. Other than that, everything was just perfect and professional as it could be.Thanks to the Managment and the great Staff of the Place D'Armes Hotel. Good Job, well done!!!
