Pleasing Return

Pros: Location
Lost count as to how many visits at Le Saint Sulplice and everything was as good as on previous visits. If you will be using the sofa bed, may wish to ask for a courtyard facing room as the street facing room is a tad noisy for guests sleeping on the sofa bed.

The hotel is very nice and the location is great. Our shower did not work, annoying, though they offered us another room to shower in. I went to convert US Dollars to Canadian at the front desk, the ratio is currently .86, they offered me 1 to 1, what a rip off.

Great stay!

A last minute trip to Montreal, and boy am I glad I found this hotel! Perfect location, great value and a very restful stay. only suggestion for improvement - for the lobby bar, if you aren't serving food after 11PM please have some nuts of light snacks available for the weary traveller who would like a drink before bed. No need for the full kitchen, just some light bar snacks.

Great boutique hotel in Old Montreal!

Posted Dec 9, 2014
We stayed for 2 nights in early November 15-17, 2014 for a weekend getaway from Toronto and we were not disappointed! My fiancee had previously stayed here and recommended that we try it together. I was a little hesitant as I generally try to stay with the larger chains such as the Four Seasons or Ritz Carltons, however, this hotel was excellent. As I am an Expedia VIP member they upgraded us to to Fireplace Suite which was large, clean and very comfortable. They had recognized my booking request for a quiet room with a balcony and we were provide a very quiet room overlooking the courtyard. I would not hesitate to recommend this hotel. Merci Beaucoup Le St. Sulpice!

The staff were excellent, happy and helpful. The room was nice and very clean. The only issue was that the heating seemed a bit hotter than the thermostat read. Overall excellent experience and perfectly located in Old Port!

Wonderful Hotel in Old Montreal!

I spent 5 days at the St Sulpice and it was excellent! The staff was very friendly and helpful (booked Imax tickets for us) I requested more Nescafe coffee for my room - no problem! The location was the best. Old Montreal reminded me of living in France. Wonderful restaurants close by, charming cobblestone streets, and close to the Metro. Everywhere we went was only a few blocks from a subway station! The people who live in Montreal are happy, helpful, friendly and accepting. I was there to look at Universities for my child and I who be delighted if they chose Montreal for their education and we live in the Western US!
