Great location close to downtown attractions!Posted Dec 5, 2013
Pros: Great location, continental breakfast, suites.
Cons: While the breakfast was pretty good as is (mmmm bagels!) they could maybe add some warm dishes (eggs, bacon, hashbrowns?) to compliment it.
Location: Bell Centre is about a 15 minute walk. Place des Arts is about a 10 minute walk. Underground Mall is about a 3 minute walk. Metro nearby.
Really enjoyed our stay at the Le Square Phillips. The location was great as it was right near St. Cat. and walking distance to the Bell Centre and Place des Arts. There is also a metro station just down the street. The rooms were nothing too fancy, but neat and very clean. We had a suite and found it to be very well equipped. The staff was very friendly and fluent in English and French. Would return again.

Pros: The location was good.
Cons: There were some small repairs that needed to be done in our room. That would have made the stay better.

Centrally locatedPosted Dec 1, 2013
Pros: Location, staff
Cons: See above comments
Location: Nearby subway, underground parking, etc
Although the location is very convenient, it lacks revives such as a lounge or a restaurant to relax after a late arrival or a long day. Most of the surrounding places were closed upon our arrival and we wish there were a lounge or room service to allow a more relaxing staying. Breakfast was limited as well with strict hours from 6:30-9:30 during the week.

Great hotelPosted Dec 1, 2013
Pros: Wide bedroom
This hotel has spacious and clean bedrooms, with a wide kitchen equipment and many types of pillows. Wifi is free, 2 different journals available, and free breakfast. It's a great location downtown Montreal. The pool is small but refreshing. The only criticism is the breakfast rather tasteless.

Staff were very kind and helpful. Everyone spoke English. Valet provided us with a map and let us know about different things to do in the area.

Best beds ever and very quiet!Posted Nov 25, 2013
Cons: Perhaps providing a small bottle of hand lotion. We had lots of hair products but no lotion.
This was our first trip to Montreal and I would highly recommend this hotel. It is in the heart of old Montreal and easy walking distance to everything including the train station. Our room was very spacious, very clean and the beds were super. I would highly recommend!

Great location, great value, very clean!!Posted Nov 25, 2013
I researched hotel reviews before booking this hotel and I am glad I did. Spacious room, modern, clean, kitchenette, quiet, and close to subway stations (2), shopping (everywhere), old Montreal (6 blocks) and restaurants. If you drive to Montreal here's a tip. The hotel has valet service, park out front and go to the concierge desk, they will park your car in a private garage and get it as many times as you want. Roof top indoor pool, really more of a lap pool with an outdoor deck (bring your own drinks, no bar). Staff is very friendly and helpful, concierge recommended 2 great restaurants. I would stay here again and would recommend the hotel to the traveler who is looking for a very clean, modern, and reasonably priced hotel. The wife and I take about 3 weekends a year to go away without our children, we have been to NYC 5 times in the last 6 years and have never gone back to the same hotel twice. Not because they weren't good, just that there was nothing special enough about them to make us come back. But we would go back to this hotel.

Nice hotel with kitchen and close to everythingPosted Nov 25, 2013
Pros: Hotel is just ½ block from St. Catherine street where most of the shops are located
An exceptional hotel that does not break your bank account. The staff was extremely helpful. They even provided us an umbrella on a rainy day. The room was big and comfortable. We stayed there for 6 nights and the kitchen became handy for the nights we did not want to go out. 747 bus pick you up from the airport and drop you off at the corner of the hotel for just 9 dollars. No need for rental car. Buy subway and bus ticket for 18 dollars for 3 days and you can go anywhere in the city. It is very convenient

Great LocationPosted Nov 22, 2013
Pros: Cost, convenience, room size, and full kitchen.
Cons: The room TV did not get any business channels (e.g., Bloomberg, CNBC, Fox News) and very few English channels.
Location: Adjacent to the retail area, many restaurants. Really, in the middle of everything.
Nice hotel, pleasant staff, good value, comfortable bed, large room with kitchen, convenient to downtown shopping, McGill Univ., and Congress convention center. I didn't have time to use the pool or fitness center, but they looked very nice. I will stay here next time I visit Montreal.
