Pros: It's location. Many shops, restaurants and attractions are within walking distance and if you have to travel, there's a metro stop 3 minutes away.
Location: Mont-Royal part is a good place to run and it has great views of the city. This is my favourite place to go.
Nothing out of the ordinary. I come here because I feel welcomed and never have any hassle. It's a breeze to check-in and get your stay started.

Very nice hotel in a central location!

Posted Apr 27, 2015
Pros: The staff were all extremely friendly and helpful! Everyone from the front desk, valet, to housekeeping, always greeted me with a smile!
Location: The location is great! Conveniently located to shopping, restaurants, and transportation! No car required.
The hotel is located right on the corner of Maisonneuve and Metcalfe and is pretty central to shopping, restaurants, the Metro, etc. The hotel is clean and the staff are very friendly. I had the Grand Lux room with the fireplace. Good room layout! The bathroom had a shower, claw-foot bathtub, and double sinks. Three louvered sliding doors separated the bathroom from the bedroom. There was a little "fireplace" in the corner, but it was one of those ones with the fake logs in front with flames projected onto a screen to simulate fire. It was cute and nice for some nighttime light. The room was a good size with a nice work desk area. I was out most evenings during their 5-8pm turn-down service where they come around with a cart of free snacks, but did catch it once. I grabbed a couple of bottles of water and a bag of chips in case I got peckish. It's a nice touch! I found the WiFi to be a little slow, but it's free and was good enough for me to check my mail and access websites. That you could connect up to 5 devices was a nice feature. Because it's still cold, the pool was open limited hours, but the front desk staff were forthcoming with that information when we checked in. There was some major construction going on next door so it was a little noisy at times. But I was out most of the time so only noticed when I came back mid-day. Not the hotel's fault obviously. The service is friendly and the location is great! I'd stay here again for sure!

Pros: "Non chain" friendly comfort
Cons: Only issue was with our Keurig that did not work. Staff was asked both days and it was not resolved $5.00 room service was solution
Location: Very upscale shopping across the street . Convenient to Metro, restaurants
Everything was great upon arrival. Beautiful boutique hotel, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Lively bistro but not intrusive to fireplace seating in the lobby.

Perfect for our quick trip!

Posted Apr 22, 2015
Pros: We liked the location and the lovely room the best as well as how professional and kind the hotel staff were.
Location: The location is great for people visiting McGill University. There is a lot of shopping and lots of restaurants nearby.
We needed a place for one night to visit McGill University, and the location was ideal for walking to the college and also getting a good feel for downtown Montreal. The Metro stop was very close as well. Our room was very spacious, quiet and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful and quiet

Posted Apr 20, 2015
Pros: Decor was beautiful.
Cons: Ideally, more comfortable pillows. Found them too hard.
Location: Lots of shopping and eating nearby!
Had a great night at Le St-Martin Hotel. Close to everything downtown, comfortable bedding, quiet, and everything felt new and clean. Attendants at the lobby were welcoming and quick!
