Highly recommendPosted Apr 26, 2015
Pros: "Non chain" friendly comfort
Cons: Only issue was with our Keurig that did not work. Staff was asked both days and it was not resolved $5.00 room service was solution
Location: Very upscale shopping across the street . Convenient to Metro, restaurants
Everything was great upon arrival. Beautiful boutique hotel, tastefully decorated and very comfortable. Lively bistro but not intrusive to fireplace seating in the lobby.

Perfect for our quick trip!Posted Apr 22, 2015
Pros: We liked the location and the lovely room the best as well as how professional and kind the hotel staff were.
Location: The location is great for people visiting McGill University. There is a lot of shopping and lots of restaurants nearby.
We needed a place for one night to visit McGill University, and the location was ideal for walking to the college and also getting a good feel for downtown Montreal. The Metro stop was very close as well. Our room was very spacious, quiet and comfortable. We would definitely stay there again!

Beautiful and quietPosted Apr 20, 2015
Pros: Decor was beautiful.
Cons: Ideally, more comfortable pillows. Found them too hard.
Location: Lots of shopping and eating nearby!
Had a great night at Le St-Martin Hotel. Close to everything downtown, comfortable bedding, quiet, and everything felt new and clean. Attendants at the lobby were welcoming and quick!

Nice change from chain hotelsPosted Apr 20, 2015
Pros: Location Decor
Cons: Parking options
Location: Walking distance to many restaurants and Ste Catherine's Street shopping
Staff were friendly and our room was beautifully decorated and spotless. I did find it a bit odd to be charged an 'additional person charge' for 3 people (2 adults + 1 child) in a room with 2 queen beds. So by the time you add that cost plus the mandatory valet parking it's a bit more pricey than the many other options nearby, but it was a nice change.

Pros: Excellent condition.
Cons: Rooms are a bit dark. Could use brighter lights.
Location: Alexandre French restaurant nearby was a great recommendation.
First room was adjoining and noisy but the switched me immediately. Staff exceptionally helpful with local recommendations, directions etc.

Nice small hotel close to everythingPosted Apr 11, 2015
Pros: Free wifi. Courteous, friendly. Quiet. Close to everything.
Cons: Lighting in the bathroom above the sink(s) could be brighter.
Location: Walking to St. Catherine's Street, McGill University, Mount Royal, Notre Dame, Old Montreal and Bell Centre. Short Metro ride to Olympic Park.
Front staff very helpful. The hotel is very quiet and staff always asking if there was anything they could do. Have never been to Montreal before so the hotel was right in the middle of the things we wanted to explore. The room bar was always stocked and if you took anything from there, it would be taken off your room rate. There were times when we would come back to the hotel and unwind mid-afternoon and timed it right as complimentary drinks and snacks were brought to the room. Nice touch. The bathtub wall is glass and is seen from the rest of the room. The shutters are controlled from the outside of the bathroom, which was weird at first, but did not seem to matter as the days rolled on. The pool is a long hot tub on the second floor which looks like a pool on a balcony. Again, different but neat. The hotel restaurant is pricey, but lots of restaurants around the hotel, just need to explore.
