“Excellent hotel, great rate, great location”

Just minutes from Old Town, Notre Dame and Downtown. We would give the Westin 5 stars and would strongly recommend for business, vacation and families.

“Great experience (family of 4 stayed 6 nights)”

The Westin is across the street from the convention center (with access to the underground city), a block or two from 2 subway stations, and walking distance to all the attractions in Old Montreal and the Old Port. The Westin provided quick valet service to fetch our car, which we used to visit just about every neighborhood in Montreal (Oratory/Westmount, Marche Jean Talon/LIttle Italy, Mount Royal, the Olympic Park, I'le St Helene) - everything is easy to access and 15-20 minutes away by car. Our room was very clean, very quiet, and the beds very comfortable. The kids loved the pool with a "window" to the bottom floors, and the cold and hot pools. My only issue was the concierge wasn't very experienced. On our first night we asked for restaurant recommendations and her suggestions were very limited and not family friendly. As we became familiar with the area, we realized there were literally dozens of options within 5-10 minutes walk she could have offered. Would definitely stay there again!

“New Westin Montreal”

Extremely comfortable room, great bed. Minor (?) problem with swimming pool leaking onto to entry steps. Restaurant has excellent breakfast but expensive.

“Great stay”

Totally renovated. Great location. On the edge of the old city for walking with fabulous restaurants but easily accessible to other city areas. Staff very friendly and accommodating. WIFI in room. Couldn't be better.

“Great experience”

The staff were very courteous and helpful. The hotel was lovely and well situated for sight-seeing in Montreal. They were even able to find adjoining rooms at the last minute despite our party having booked the rooms separately. The only minor thing I didn't like was the lack of bathtubs -- although the shower itself was lovely -- I just like to soak on vacations, especially after a long drive.

“Brand New”

We stayed here when it was only one month old. Beautiful, remodeled from the old building of the city's English speaking newspaper "The Gazette". Modern, chic, centric, and just around the corner from la Place Riopelle, which fills up with smoke every hour on the hour, and at :30 the fountain is circled by fire: amazing. The service is very young executives. A little problem coordinating with concierge, and I would have preferred a heated pool (too cold even in mid Summer). But excellent over all.

“Top Class, Excellent Value”

The Westin is an elegant hotel, well-located, newly opened. It also is not fully booked yet, so Esxpedia was offering a value rate for two days in late July. Service was extremely friendly. Most importantly, the rooms are very comfortable, and the Heavenly Bed and linens are indeed heavenly. Fitness center also very good, and free. Bathroom has a double shower-head and excellent lighting. In all, very highly recommended, if you can get a discount.
