By far the best experience in my multi-city trip

Posted Jul 19, 2014
Pros: Front desk, and service.
Warm welcome upon arrival to hotel, front desk very helpful, provided amenity information and guidance in Montreal, very nice rooms and decor, with the basics, but well arranged, although the hotel really does not have a view of the city, I would recommend the hotel, since at the end of the day , your comfort resides in your room, free Wi-Fi, cappuccino machine for guests, and the hotel is close to the metro station and main touristic attractions.

Wonderful hotel in the center of the city

Posted Jul 19, 2014
Pros: Large room, very comfortable bed, helpful front desk staff, central city location.
Cons: Cost for parking at the hotel could be less expensive.
Location: Central city location. Walking distance to great shopping, restaurants, museums and other city attractions. Metro station within a few blocks.
Our stay at the Lowe Hotel Vogue Montreal was wonderful. We spent 5 days enjoying the city and coming back to the Lowes each day was as enjoyable as the city. The room was huge with plenty of room for the king size bed, couch at the end of the bed, dresser and desk. The bed was amazingly comfortable, with down pillows and a light weight down comforter. Even the sheets were incredibly soft. The construction outside of our window was only a minor annoyance, as the fan from the cooling system in our room helped to minimize the noise. Special thanks to front desk worked Bibi for her cheerful and informative recommendations. The hotel's location is superb. It is within a few blocks from the best shopping, museums and restaurants in the city. The city's subway system is clean, safe and efficient. The nearest metro station is only a few blocks away. It was a great experience and would recommend the Lowes Hotel and the city of Montreal to everyone.

Nice and classy with awesome location

Posted Jul 8, 2014
Pros: Location. In-room jetted tubs. Friendly staff.
It was our (My gf and I) second time there. Arrived at around noon..they had a room ready for us and let us check in even tho check in time was 4pm. Very nice and friendly staff. I used to live in Montreal for 3 years, and this is one of my favorite parts of downtown. One block from Crescent street where there's many pubs and restaurants, and close to saint catherine as well of course. The in-room jetted tubs are absolutely awesome. definitely compensates for lack of a pool...we actually prefer it to a swimming pool The only downside is expensive valet-only parking..no self-park option. But there's an outdoor 24h parking right next to the hotel..so we just parked there instead. anyway, overall great experience. Would go back for a third time on next montreal trip

Great hotel, great location

Posted Jul 3, 2014
This was my first stay in the Loews hotel chain and I was very impressed with their hotel and the service they provided. Everything was as described in the hotel description. The room was as pictured, modern look, spacious and comfortable bed. The jacuzzi tub was perfect after a long day of exploring. Free wifi. Fitness center is open 24 hrs and well equipped. The hotel is near St Catherine Street and Sherbrooke so lots of shopping, if that is what your looking for. At the same time, the nearest metro station Peel is a quick walk away to take you to Old Montreal, Old Port and any other part of the city. Also, Mont Royal park is a 30-45 min walk ( wear comfortable shoes and clothes, as it is a steep walk up hill with lots of stairs). There is a convenience store Couche-Tard (Circle K) just to the right of hotel as you walk out the front (on maisonneueve) to pick up water and any other items. Also, in the hotel lobby there is a coffee machine where you can get espresso, lattes, cappuccino, etc. for free, if you wan something other than the Keurig coffee that's in your room.

Excellent hotel

Pros: Wifi, the terrific restaurant, marvellous staff, great comfort and convenience.
Cons: Provision of drinking glasses, as outlined.
Location: Good location for Rue Ste-Cathérine, Musée des Beaux Arts, and Mont Royal.
We stayed for six nights recently and loved this place from the minute we walked in to a warm welcome from the front desk. The room and the public parts of the hotel had terrific décor, every convenience you might require, and we were very comfortable. Only small things to gripe about were the one morning we were awakened by the noise from nearby construction at 6.50 a.m. but that only happened once. Also, each day our drinking glasses were removed and not replaced. We soon learned to steal some back from where the maid would leave them in the corridor but it did seem a strange thing. On the plus side was constant access to an ice-making machine on our floor, so whenever we did pick up some wine from the nearby SAQ, it was always cool. Another big plus for geeks like us was the reliable, high speed wifi throughout the building. The location is great, just off Rue Ste-Cathérine, a few minutes' walk from the marvellous Musée des Beaux Arts, and just below the Mont Royal itself. There are two bars on the ground floor and there is a remarkably good restaurant. We ate there one evening and twice had lunch in the sun at the front. Each meal was great and the service was always both charming and efficient. It was probably the best dining experience we had in Montréal, which is a great place to eat out.
