Great hotel close to everythingPosted Jul 26, 2014
Staff was friendly and helpful. Bed was very comfortable. Hotel is 5 minute walk to Rue St. Catherine for great food and shops; also to central station for trains. 15 min walk to Old Port area/Notre Dame. Pretty safe area to walk even at night.

Location: Reubens, just a couple of doors to the left on Ste Catherines, has the best and inexpensive breakfasts.
Loved the city view! 22nd floor room had a bar fridge plus another fridge, which was a bonus.

Staff was super nice and helpful.Posted Jul 21, 2014
I realized staff was nice and helpful but it wasn't until we went to Ottawa and stayed at Lord Elgin that I noticed a big difference in staff. The staff just did t seem as warm at Lord Elgin and were not as helpful they seemed to do there job were as the Marriott they really seemed like they cared more . At least that was my experience.

desk clerk went out of her way to be helpfulPosted Jul 20, 2014
Pros: helpful staff, good linens, roomy suites, convenient location
Cons: parking was not exactly convenient and, like any big city, expensive mini bar left little room for baby bottles as it was full of junk and booze
Location: short walk to tourist bus, cabs readily available, good view of city
We were there when it was completely booked but she found a way to get us (our parents and my daughter and I) connecting rooms.

Great locationPosted Jul 18, 2014
Took my teenage daughter to see a concert. This location was perfect ! Took less than 5 minutes to walk to the Bell centre. Also walking distance to great shopping and Old Montreal. Hotel a little dated in some areas but has enough updates to give you the feeling of a higher end hotel. Would definitely stay there again

Close to subway and attractionsPosted Jul 14, 2014
Hotel was very nice, room was fantastic, big king size bed a sitting chair and great shower. It was also right above a subway line making it so easy to get to all the attractions. I highly recommend this hotel.
