Nice enough hotelPosted Aug 26, 2014
Cons: the door style into the bathrooms is nice but the translucent panels sure let tight into the room at night
Nice enough hotel but starting to show wear: carpet was bunched up in the room, perhaps time to replace?

Pros: Close to the airport. Clean. Seemed good for business travelers.
Needed a hotel near the Montreal airport. Found this on line. it was very clean, if not somewhat stark, but more than adequate for our needs. Restaurant was good.

Short stay near airportPosted Aug 18, 2014
Used it as a hi evade for shopping and dropping boxes off to the airport cargo. Lots of easy driving routes to shopping that can even keep you off the highways.

Novotel LavalPosted Aug 18, 2014
Pros: Entrance is nice, parking at proximity and away from traffic, etc.
Cons: Room management.
Location: We had to connect to the gps to get to centre town Laval.
We were disapointed. Missing a blanket on the bed, carpet is all "loose" and you must be careful not to trip in it. No possibility of bringin food from the breakfast buffet to the room although it is supposed to be included in the package.

Sterile but reasonably practicalPosted Aug 18, 2014
Cons: food, atmosphere
Location: strictly for staying near the airport
The hotel is listed as an airport hotel for the Montreal (Trudeau/YUL) airport but is actually about 15-20 minutes away. However, they have a shuttle service that picks you up from and takes you to the airport. The staff were all exceptionally nice and helpful. Our room had a small refrigerator which was also nice. The room itself was extremely sterile rather than simply clean and modern) in feeling so if that matters you will not like it. The gym facilities were extremely limited. Do NOT eat at the restaurant if you can possible avoid it. The food was expensive and without any flavor.

Great ExperiencePosted Aug 17, 2014
Loved the hotel! Really nice and updated entrance and restaurant. The restaurant staff were amazing and very kind! Our room was spacious and great for a family of 4. We considered staying downtown, but were pleased with the value of our stay near the airport. It is easy to get downtown. If we ever go back, we will stay at this hotel again for sure!!!!

Nice hotel, terrible service (except restaurant)Posted Aug 12, 2014
The Hotel's facilities are nice and modern, but the front desk staff was not helpful or kind ... they made you feel as if you were bothering them. We arrived late at night (due to the lausy shuttle service provided) and when we wanted to have dinner, they told us that the kitchen and room service closed at 10pm (were 9.45) they didin't care if we had other options for dinner or not even tried to help us. The wi-fi and business center internet service never worked, people at the Front Desk were very rude. Excellent breakfast (food and service)

Disappointed by staff.Posted Aug 12, 2014
Pros: The room was OK and quiet. The lobby was nice.
Cons: Better courtesy from staff (manager) when travelers encounter problems.
The door to my did not close properly so my wallet was stolen from my room. I reported this to Hotel staff when I discovered my wallet was missing. They were polite and said they would check with housekeeping. At this point I was not sure what happened to my wallet. My wallet did not up by 2 in the afternoon and I realized I had to go home since I had no money or credit cards. I went to the main desk and spoke to the manager on duty duty and found she was hostile in suggested that I was accusing the staff of stealing my wallet. I was not accusing the staff but I told her that the door to my room was not closing properly and I thought that was probably how someone got into my room to steal my wallet. (my wallet was sitting on the desk in the room and would have been easy to see) So given that I was reporting that the door to my room did not close correctly, I felt that I should have been treated with a bit more courtesy.

Nice hotel for an overnight out stop.Posted Aug 10, 2014
Family of four traveling out east. To our surprise we found out that Quebec City and most of Montreal was sold out on a Wednesday. This was one of the last hotels available. Room design makes good use of space. Clean.
