Avoid. Very Disappointing.

Pros: Shuttle service to shopping area.
Cons: Staff's training. House cleaning. Refurbishment of rooms.
Location: Airport, Place Vertu shopping center,
Location: OKish. Not really at the airport (10 min. drive), but shuttle service exists. Shuttle also goes to some shopping areas (the only good thing in this hotel). Room: worn out. carpet could use replacement. Old CRT TVs could use replacement. Toilets could use some duck toilet treatment. Staff: On the borderline of incompetent. Things that went wrong: 1. Someone has checked-in to my room while I was in the room. Mistakes happen. Instead of sympathy, received a "let's minimize the risk for a compensation demand" treatment. Mistakes do happen, the question is how you deal with them. A complete failure. 2. (Large) glass shreds found in room. Cleaning service - can be improved. 3. Cleaning service skipped the room (not that I need a daily service, but they could have least stocked the coffee/tea station). Easily solvable, but shows (more) issues with house cleaning services. All in all: will not stay again. Even for free.

DISAPPOINTTED

Posted Jul 2, 2014
Beside the nice receptionnist girl that night of june 30. that was all about the staff friendliness. People who were working that night at the restaurant were not so happy at all. did wonder if they like there job... Room was pretty small i think. the light by the bed neither was working. THE AC SEEM NOT TO WORK IN ALL THIS HOTEL WAS ABSOLUTELY HOT. Did not have much chance with the AC in my room either. The room was clean. The wake up service was 15 min late , thanks that i have set my cell phone alarm. The must was when i arrive 10 min before to take the airport shuttle who was schedduled every half hour . so was 5:50am then the personn who was at the door told me that there was no shuttle then that i should wait for the 6:30 one. when i have to catch a flight at 7;15. Increddible , well went back to the reception and explain what i was just told, then the man was nice enought to tell the door man to take the key of the shuttle (surprise) and drive me to the airport. IF i have to rate only the reception it will be a score of 5/5 and the housekeeping.

Pros: I was able to use the swimming pool at the Hilton Hotel
Cons: Air Conditioning
Location: close to Subway Sub
I was pleasantly happy with the hotel. I would have liked more pillows and a larger bed

Nice hotel easy to access, close to the airport

Posted Jun 3, 2014
Pros: the location and its easy access from the highway
Cons: the only problem we encountered was that twice our room keys were not working so we had to get new ones
Location: Besides being close to the airport, this hotel's location on highway 520 makes it easy to access other main highways to get anywhere you want to get.
Our three children live in Montreal but their apartments are small so we prefer to rent a room when we visit. Our room was comfortable, quiet and just a few minutes drive from our loved ones.

Inexpensive Hotel but no parking

Posted Jun 2, 2014
Pros: The $52 I paid for one night.
Cons: Cleanliness. Watch Hotel Impossible for things to improve.
Location: It is in an industrial area very close to the airport. 5 min away you will be in a small town with a grocery store and mall. 5 min. from the highway.
The hotel was ok. It was run down in many places, carpet peeling up, light bulbs burnt out etc. The decor was old but clean. You could tell that it was an upscale hotel in the past. The pool was not opened. It was filled with green water with some garbage in it. My main problem was that I had to pay $10 for parking. Had I known this I would have upgraded my hotel to include parking and paid less in the end. This was in the end the least expensive hotel in the Montreal area and for that I would say go but if you plan to go downtown try a different location.

A hotel to come back to.

Posted May 25, 2014
Pros: We shopped online for the best price offered w/in the desired area.
Cons: Right off the interstate routes have made first time travelers to Montreal like us easily find our ways around towns.
Nice hotel, staffs were very helpful and friendly. Cleanliness and comfortable; however, the outdoor pool was occupied by geese and an electrical surge can leave you in the dark, momentarily. We did enjoy our time there and hope that we will be able to swim outdoor next time.

Good hotel near the airport

Posted May 22, 2014
Pros: Room was big, very clean, and was better than we expected. Price was great. Shuttle was very convenient and the drivers were happy to drive us.
Cons: Restaurant hours could be longer.
Location: The hotel is close to the airport, but there is not much within walking distance. The shuttle was available to take us to a mall & the airport.
Shuttle provided service to the airport as well as some malls and to the metro, which made it great to do things when you don't have a car. The restaurant was open limited hours, and we missed it each time we needed it. Rooms seemed more sound proof than other places we stayed. Staff provided superior service. Parking was extra. There is a Subway and a Tim Hortons within walking distance. There was a fridge, but it was quite small.
