Lovely Hotel in downtown Montreal

Posted Jun 25, 2015
Pros: That the people were friendly, and the hotel and the room was clean. We had a room with a kitchen and that was an added touch just in case
Cons: Asked if something can be done to reduce rate, nothing could be done. Also housekeeping checked up on us the day of leaving starting at 8:30am.
The hotel has been recently renovated and they thought of everything. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable. Very close to everything downtown, even walking distance to Old Montreal. However if you are asking for a price matching, they will not do anything for you. The front desk are service individuals and not sales people - they need to be coached on selling. Lastly, the housekeeping needs to check with front desk before checking rooms to see if they can start cleaning the rooms. They started to check to see if we left at 8:30am and then all you can hear is knocking on doors. They need a system that they check with front desk before proceeding with knocking so early or opening doors while you are still in the room.

Renovated hotel

Posted Jun 24, 2015
Pros: Good space, comfortable bed, kitchen with updated appliances. Housekeeping service was excellent.
Cons: Internet service needs to be addressed. Unless you pay $5 a day, the internet service was very slow and disconnected often.
Location: Shopping, great restaurant next door, many other restaurants in the area, museums, bus tours a few blocks away
Renovated hotel, great location. Parking in the back of hotel.

Renovations to rooms really look great! Included breakfast was also very good with lots of options for people with different breakfast preferences.

Great location but they need to replace...

Posted Jun 15, 2015
Great location in the heart of downtown Montreal! Everything and anything you could want within walking distance. Very pleasant staff! I didn't try the free breakfast but laundry facilities on site very handy. If I stayed longer, I would have made use of kitchen in room. Only negative was that while the windows recently were replaced, airport hotel grade glass I'm told, the room door was paper thin! So noise from the hallways. Replace the doors and I'd stay again!

Good accommodation, great location but little amen

Posted Jun 6, 2015
Pros: Location, accommodation
Cons: Elevators are slow and erratic.
Location: Central, lots to do.
The location sells this hotel in downtown Montreal. The suites are well appointed and modern. The hotel itself offers little amenity but that is okay as what is on offer are serviced apartments. We stayed both in a one bedroom with King and a studio with 2 x doubles. Both were fine.

Pros: The staff were very helpful and pleasant, and the rooms were nice appointed.
Cons: Food services on site, as if you have mobility issues popping out for every meal is not easy.
Location: It was a great location if you have no limits to your mobility. Having someone with us who needed mobility aids made it far more challenging.
The hotel staff were wonderful. The elevators were very small and having a person with mobility issues and a walker proved challenging for navigating the trips within the hotel. Also the breakfast room was too small and crowded full of tables for the amount of people using it on the weekend. It was difficult to make your way between tables with hot coffee and such, and for my mother with her walker it was a challenge just to get her to a table. But over all it was a nice place.

Great location downtown!

We visited Mont Royal because it is within walking distance of the hotel. The metro was one block down and easy to use. The hotel is clean and the staff are excellent! The continental breakfast was better than I have seen at most hotels.
