good location

Posted Jan 13, 2015
Pros: Close to downtown and old town
Cons: The cleaning system
Location: Very usefull, at side Old Montreal, only 5 minutes walking, near to metro station and bus routes.
The hotel was close to downtown, very usefull, but the building is four floors and no elevator, bad. the cleaning was deficient, I was there 4 nights, one day they don't clean the room, bad. one night, someone in a close room, made a lot of noise (at 4 am), too bad!!

Better than we expected, the price was good and the hotel is near the subway and many places in downtown Montreal.

Pictures are not what they seem!

A very uncomfortable hotel, almost seems more like a hostel. 'Bathroom' consisted of a closet with a toilet covered by a shower curtain about 1ft from the bed and shower not too much farther away. Tiny space, stains and liquid splash residue all over the walls and furniture. You can hear all other guests in other rooms as well.

Quaint hotel with a great location

Posted Dec 3, 2014
Cons: Fix some minor issues (i.e. trim on the door frame to the bedroom)
The hotel didn't have much in the way as glassware or anything, but I didn't expect it to. There was a microwave and mini-fridge in my room which was nice. TV was present but small and in an awkward location on the wall. The room overall was comfortable and clean.

Nice cozy hotel in the core of Montreal.

Pros: Location
Cons: Room, too small.
Location: Old Montreal, Port, Downtown, Museum
Rue St. Denis is strategical, you can reach all the interesting point by foot. in addition is close the the bus stop (747) direction Airport.

Terrible facility

I wonder how that qualifies to be a hotel. Showers are unbelievable, u'll think it's juss a makeshift arrangement.

Hi I'm so disappoint that you didn't like your trip in our hotel. Howerver, I'll make sure to understand the situation about the shower and do the necessary. We are proud of our hotel and yes, it is different from anywhere else! Mme Ferlandt, customer service

A nice place at a reasonable price. I've spent three night here and never been bothered by noise from other rooms. That's a biggie for me.

ロケーション最高です。フロントも優しい♪ バストイレは他の宿泊客と共有なのでそれでも大丈夫な一人旅の人には安くて駅も近くて快適です♪

Worst Hotel Stay Ever!

Posted Oct 15, 2014
If I would of booked a log cabin that was never visited for 25 years it would of been better the pics online for this hotel should be changed and then while I was leaving after 4 days there hearing the guests talk about possible bed bugs. After voicing my opinion on tje first day and saying the hotel dosen't refect images/pics online and I wanted a full refund they refused and said its my loss and I could not afford to pay for another hotel without a refund due to budget restraints had no other choice to suck it up and stay there or stay on the street. Never been so disappointed in my life after saving all summer for this trip and the person who I went to see in Montreal wouldn't even step inside the hotel due to the reviews of possible bed bugs and hearing other guests talking about it and when I asked the gentlemen on the desk he began ro speak to me in french and ignored me my loss I was told!

Hi I'm so sorry you didn't like your trip in our Hotel. But you are written something wrong Monsieur and I have to correct: No, in any case there is bed bug in our hotel. In Montreal, it happen that we had this problem but it was generalize to the entire city! Now it's finish and make sure that we are not joking with these bugs! We are a clean Hotel but no a luxury one. If you want so, you have to go in other range of price. Mme Ferlandt customer service

Great Location - Mediocre Hotel

Posted Oct 15, 2014 on Hotels.com
The place is fine for young travelers but not if you are bringing someone with a disability or special needs as some rooms are on the top floor with three flights of stairs. The staff was very accommodating but we had to leave the hotel and stay somewhere else.

hello I'm sorry that our hotel was not the right one for your needs. By cons, for many people, it is wonderful to stay in a comfortable room in a typical building in Montreal! If you have special needs, why not check further whether our rooms were good for you? Thank you anyway for your comment. They allow us to better target our customers and improve the information given when booking. Ms. Ferlandt customer service
