Great location & ratePosted Mar 11, 2015
Great rate for a prime location - we were visiting from Toronto to catch the Habs vs Leafs game at the Bell Centre which was conveniently around the corner. It's also walking distance to St Catharines shopping area and to the heart of Montreal. The staff were super helpful and friendly and made our weekend stay an awesome experience. :)

Great location downtown. Very friendly staff.Posted Jan 21, 2015
Would stay here again. Plain but very clean and functional. Fridge, coffeemaker in room. Nice coffee and food eating place on site on ground level.

Really good (but not fancy) downtown accommodationPosted Nov 1, 2014
Pros: everything - see above. I should also mention that the staff were fully bilingual, friendly and helpful.
A decent-sized room with good facilities (desk, free reliable wifi, shower-room, fridge, access to a communal kitchen and laundry). The decor was discreet and in good repair. A noisy fan and stuttering light were fixed as soon as reported. The room was undisturbed by neighbours or sound from the corridor or lift. Very conveniently located close to the main street, public transport, restaurants and pubs, to the main conference venues and other hotels, and to walks through the tree-covered Mount. Breakfast was available from the cafe on the ground floor at a reasonable price. Altogether an excellent choice if cost is important and opulence is not.

Exceptional valuePosted Aug 16, 2014
Pros: For a few dollars more than a hostel, you get an experience that's much closer to that of a hotel. It's clean, quiet, casually comfortable.
Cons: In the hostel portion, the men's showers could use better ventilation, but they're still clean and there's no issue--but open windows would help.
Location: Close to the Bell Centre, Old Montreal and subways. Not in the heart of the action, so a bit of a walk to Quartier Latin, Village, Plateau, etc.
Excellent experience at the Y. Hotel staff are friendly, helpful, professional and laid-back. The facilities are immaculate--very clean and comfortable. No glamour here, but everything you need for a comfortable stay, similar to a nice pension in Europe. Fully stocked kitchens, computer rooms, vending machines, TVs in rooms, towels and clean linens. Safe and secure.

Ok...Posted Jul 10, 2014
Room was very small, for 4. If youre looking for just a place to crash its the place for you. Definitely not a 4 star style hotel. 140$ and no breakfast...

this is not really a Hotel, more like a HostelPosted Jun 20, 2014
Location: the location is good
This is the worst 3 star I have ever had. there is no bathroom in the room, it is down the hall, the communal showers is beside the bathroom.

Budget hotel in downtown Montreal.Posted May 10, 2014
This is a very good budget hotel . The room is small but comfortable and clean. The hotel have a small computer room at 6th floor near the elevator if you require a computer at no cost. The location is excellent, it is 5 minute walk to subway and shopping area. The price is right and worth it. A 2 star hotel for a 4 star experience.

The hotel is very well locatedPosted Apr 22, 2014
The hotel rooms are pretty clean and arranged.the staff are not that we'll coming.one good fact is that the hotel is pretty close to the metro station and downtown.the common places such as the bathroom, kitchen.etc... were very well maintain.the only problem I had was whenI was in ma room because the TV a pretty small and they don't have cable.
