"Overall... great experience...wifi is the downfall"
Great experience at this downtown montreal hotel. all staff are fully bilingual, and willing to help. Concierge at the front desk provided plenty of tips for where to park, and how to get to certain locations very knowledgeable, and advised of road closures as well. definately enroll for the Select Guest loyalty program. With this, the hotel will deliver a complimentary beverage in the morning, and provide you with free wifi service (normally $18 a day) Now... the WiFi is where the bad experience came in (didn't deduct points, as this was minimal for me) Despite full WiFi reception on my varying devices, a very slow connection is provided to the network. During most of my stay, i was tethering off my phone instead of using the WiFi. I tried calling the front desk, and they connected me with their IT support. Their IT support recommended i restart my device, and that was all... still didn't work. Fortunately for me, I didn't pay for this service

"Nice and comfortable"
Simply just cannot find a flaw. Extremely comfortable. Saw a professionally equipped gym and a squash court along with the pool but did not have time to enjoy these facilities, was on a tight schedule. Air conditioning was great and effective to liking. Came with a lot of sleepless nights on board , the extremely comfortable room was simply great. I highly recommend it and will certainly will go again if in vicinity. Watch out for the non english peaking francophone drivers. I got the 747 airport bus and despite telling him some how, by showing on the msp that I needed to get off on stop 6 he took me to stop 9 and if I hadn't asked he would've kept on going. It's a 10 min simple walk from stop 6 on Levsque street. Bar that my hotel experience was great. They also have a shuttle service which needs to be booked but was not advertised on Expedia. Anyway the 747 bus was more cost effective, it even has wifi.

"Walking distance to Bell Centre, Shopping, etc."
The hotel staff were helpful and courteous during our stay. The Superior Suite was very clean and modern and offered all of the amenities we required. We were able to walk to see hockey games at the Bell Centre, eat at great local restaurants, and the shopping district is only a block away. We very much enjoyed our stay and have already booked our room there for our next trip to Montreal!

    Montreal Hotel Guide

Far from the sea, Montreal is an unusual island. At the confluence of the Saint Lawrence and Ottawa rivers, it is both a geographical and a cultural intersection, where river meets river, French meets English, and waves of cultural riches overlap leaving you with a myriad of things to do in Montreal.

Montreal takes its name from Mount Royal, which is the hill at the heart of the city. The park on the hill is the city's largest green space and it was designed by Frederick Law Olmsted, who also designed New York City's Central Park. Stay at one of the downtown Montreal hotels to enjoy the spectacular views. The park's Kondiaronk Belvedere offers a postcard view of downtown Montreal, with its skyscrapers, bright lights, and lattice of roads. Take eye-catching pictures of this view and more on the Montreal photography tour while you are on your Montreal vacation.

    Some like it cool

How you spend your time in Montreal may be determined by the weather. The city gets colder than Moscow in winter and weather forecasts include wind chill, which might convince you to view the winter wonderland from a cozy bar with a roaring fire. Montreal resorts are equipped to entertain you on those chilling days. If you want to brave the cold, put on your warmest clothes and join the Montrealians as they indulge in wintery pleasures. During La Fête des Neiges (the snow festival), the Parc Jean-Drapeau is transformed into a vast snow and ice playground, and you can ski through the Mount Royal Park or ice skate at the Bonsecours Basin in the Old Port. Arctic temperatures are also a good reason to go shopping in Montreal's underground city, which contains over 2,000 shops. A flight to Montreal – or even a cruise - is worth discovering first hand, what this city has to offer during the cool and hot seasons.

    Some like it hot

With Montreal's busy festival calendar, there's always a unique time to visit the city. When the weather heats up in June and July, so does the music at Montreal's legendary jazz festival. Book your hotels in Montreal, Canada to get the best Montreal hotel deals for the best hotels in Montreal before they sell out. The city becomes a living, breathing jazz machine, with outdoor concerts, world-class musicians, and over two million enthusiastic listeners. July is also the time to secure a fountain-side spot for the Just for Laughs comedy festival.

See Montreal by bike and you'll gain a sense of its distinctive districts so you can pick out in which area you would like to stay next time you visit Montreal. Hotels in Montreal are ready in each and every part of town for you. Downtown, skyscrapers including the Stock Exchange Tower stretch high into the clouds, and the main shopping street Rue Sainte Catherine runs east to west through its center. Cross the cobbled streets of old Montreal and you'll find outdoor cafés, bohemian boutiques, and buildings which date back to the 17th century. Montreal hotels are nestled in-between it all. Eat the best bagels in the city in Mile End, a neighborhood as popular for its live music and art galleries as its bakeries. Montreal is recognized for its microbreweries, and has the longest licenses in the country, so there's plenty of time to sample some real ale. Night owls can take their luckiest Canadian loonies to the Casino de Montréal to play the slot machines and table games. Don’t hold back on car rentals in Montreal to discover the city’s outskirts, too.

The multinational fabric of Montreal's communities means that there's a huge array of cuisines to try, but you can't leave without tasting Quebec's famed concoction of chips, gravy, and cheese (or 'poutine', as it's known locally). It might not be a recipe you'll take home, but memories of this and all that you've seen in the city will be worth holding on to.
