Great hotel and fantastic staff. The local barbecue joint across the street from the resort was the best meal we had in all of Polynesia. If you go snorkeling around the bungalows watch out for the sea urchins...they are everywhere!

Beautiful resort!Posted Jun 3, 2014
Pros: It is the total package. Has everything you could want for a relaxing holiday.
Cons: The check-in and check-out service is lacking speed and personal service.
Location: The location is great as Moorea is quite small but there is also plenty of activities away from the resort for you to enjoy.
Spent 5 nights at Moorea Pearl Resort & Spa in May 2014 for a bit of relaxation. Definitely was a wonderful place to do that. I stayed in a Premium Overwater bungalow which was an absolute treat. Everything about the resort was exceptional. The rooms were large, clean and well appointed. The amenities were great (including water sports and equipment) and the staff very attentive and friendly. The spa was also amazing. Would definitely recommend Moorea Pearl Resort to anyone interested in a totally relaxing holiday.

Nice stay at the MOOREA PEARL.Posted May 19, 2014
Pros: Location, walkable distance to stores, supermarkets. All amenities, many activities available.
Cons: The front desk staff was a bit lethargic. They could not find our reservation thru Expedia at check-in. The food in restaurant for dinner .
Location: The location is convenient to stores, a supermarket and restaurants
Despite a small hiccup at check-in, we had a terrific stay at the MOOREA Pearl. The charming enthusiastic Chihiro aka Cheerio at the front desk was very helpful with setting up our Island Tour. The duplex we rented was roomy, clean and adequate for our family. The swimming pool area very well appointed. Snorkeling around the bungalows and the coral garden was fantastic, we found so many colorful fish species, much more beautiful and diverse than those in Bora Bora. The breakfast buffet offered many choices. The resort is very close to a supermarket and restaurants. The food at restaurants in the resort was so-so, so we dined every night at Rudi's which offered a very delectable French cuisine menu. Rudi's is 10 minutes walk from the resort.

Fantastic resort, Perfect LocationPosted Apr 26, 2014 on Hotels.com
Absolutely wonderful! Great service. Resort surrounded by beautiful coral and fish so snorkling on site was spectacular. On-site restaurants were reasonable (considering location) and food was very good and restaurants have wonder view. Pool was very enjoyable. Short walk to market. Restaurants are close, several will pick you up no charge, just arrange with friendly concierge. Scooter rentals right across the street allow you rent a scooter (very reasonable) for the day and see the entire island which is a must do since it is so beautiful. Free Kayak and stand up paddle boards on site. We participated in one dive and also the jet ski tour which allowed us to snorkel with sharks and rays...very cool! This was one of our favorite destinations of all times.

Beautiful slice of paradisePosted Apr 24, 2014
Pros: -Location -Proximity to market and local hangouts -Service -Nice breakfast buffet
Cons: The only thing I would mention is that the staff didn't always let you know about special on-site events. You'd kind of walk out and see cool stuff.
Location: The resort is both secluded and near a small town center, with a market, shops and restaurants. A lot of people rent scooters to tour the island.
Our experience with the Pearl was fantastic. The hotel is in a gorgeous location and only a few minutes walk from a market and some local eateries, which can save you a lot of money on food. We stayed in a beautiful overwater bungalow, which gave us direct access to the lagoon and amazing views of both the ocean and mountains.I found the staff to be very helpful and friendly and the rooms were immaculate. I would definitely come back!

Beautiful hotel in a great location.Posted Apr 23, 2014
Pros: The over the beach bungalow and the location.
One of the nicest hotels I have stayed in and reasonably priced (for Moorea). Location is great as there are shops and restaurants within a few minutes walk.

25th Wedding Aniversary Dream VacationPosted Apr 21, 2014
Wonderful stay in a beautiful over the water bungalow. Staff was friendly, provided great service and very attentive. We were treated to anniversary fruit trays (twice) and cookies delivered to our room. Flowers in the room and on the pillows each night. Beautiful sunrises and sunsets. Fantastic weather and magical views on the water and mountains.

Best hotel stay EVER!!Posted Apr 17, 2014 on Hotels.com
We went to Moorea to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. We brought our two kids- 8 year old son and 7 year old daughter. It was a DREAM vacation!! We stayed in one of the premium over-the-water bungalows. It was the BEST snorkeling. We would just go into the water off the bungalow deck and there were 30-40 different species of fish right there. One of the days, there was even a sea turtle eating along the coral reef. The location was awesome. There are banks, restaurants and a grocery store within a very short walking distance from the hotel. The staff was friendly. They allowed us to check in several hours early. The buffet breakfast was wonderful- fresh fruit, omelette bar, crepes, pancakes, bacon- anything and everything that you could want for breakfast. Really there are NO words to describe our stay other than PERFECT! We can't wait to return!
