“We had a fantastic time; staff was wonderful!”
We chose this hotel due to the fantastic reviews given on-line by others. We were treated like royalty and it was a dream come true for us both. The only drawback was the service in the restaurant as it was a bit slow; each time we ate in the dining room, it took over 1and 1/2 hrs. and they were not that busy. If we ordered dessert, it seemed like the wait staff forgot it.
“Wow”
We had an overwater bungalow. It was very expensive...but, when we got there we said, this is so worth it!! Our goal is to earn enough money to go back! It was peaceful and beautiful. the OW bungalows sit right on a coral reef. It's amazing. Everyone was very nice too!
“Very impressed with the resort”
We toured the island on scooters and I personally think that the Pearl is one of the nicest places on the island and very accomodating.
“Exceeded expectations”
They are known for their service and they definitely deliver. We had an amazing time. Also, the beach resort is just as good as the overwater bungelows, so don't feel like you are missing out if you can't afford it. I highly recommend the Shark and manaray excursion. It was the best day and the best poussin we had all week.
“cant wait to go back”
place is soooo beautiful. nothing comes close at the west coast or east coast in united state, even the hawaii. highly recommend the premium oversea bugalow, but not the garden one( bugs everywhere in room)
“Well worth the trip!!”
We stayed here before hopping on a cruise in Papeete. If you are doing the same thing, do what we did, either hop on the Moorea Express Ferry or take an Air Moorea plane from FAAA airport over to Moorea - it takes 10 minutes and cost us something like 40 bucks per person. The resort is beautiful. Great pool, nice rooms and bungalows, small but decent beach, good snorkeling and kayaking possibilities. The restaurant is somewhat expensive for meals, but so is everything in Tahiti. There is a local supermarket withing walking distance and some restaurants to go to. It's a low key, beautiful resort. I spent a day in a "nice" hotel in Papeete after the cruise and there was no comparison. Moorea was so much more beautiful. I suspect the "Pearl" resorts on the Islands are way superior to the other big chains. I would recommend this to anyone and truthfully hope I can go there again
“The best place I have ever stayed”
Beautiful, beautiful, beautiful! The Premium overwater bungalows were fantastic. Would go back in a heartbeat. Can't say that about many places.
“Great Hotel - Stay Here”
It was great. Staff was all very nice. We were in a room with a private pool which was wonderful. I would recommend this place (and I'm a hotel snob).
“Paradise on Earth”
The Hotel was very enchanting and beautiful from the grounds to the staff. Locals were especially friendly and helpful along with the entire hotel staff. Rooms were sparkling clean and comfortable. Service was some of the best we have ever had. We will be back and I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The reviews online that talk about bad service are BS. The staff and locals are friendly and treat people as they are treated. It was the best vacation destination ever. Thank you to the Pearl!!!!
“Moorea Pearl was awesome”
My wife and I stayed here for a week from Christmas 09 to New Years 2010. Every aspect of the hotel was amazing. We were in an Overwater Bungalow and even got a free upgrade to a Premium Bungalow for the last night. Lots of water activities, nice pool, great views all around. The staff at the Front Desk and the Activities Desk were very friendly and resourceful. Quite a few shops, restaurants, boutiques, banks etc within a walkable distance. Renting a scooter or a car can be done on-site. I cant think of anything negative to say about Moorea Pearl. My wife and I loved it :)
