Whatever you do, don’t book this property through Expedia. We asked for a renovated room because ours was in poor condition- we offered to pay whatever the difference would be. The staff said we could move to a renovated room for an extra $40, so we agreed. When they realized we booked through Expedia, they said there was nothing they could do. We couldn’t even pay to go to a better room. I’m also not sure why when the hotel is nowhere near full, why any guests are being put in old, broken rooms.
We also booked 2 queen beds, but the beds were much smaller than a standard queen. We asked if we had mistakenly been given a double and they told us that their queens were just smaller than average. We even measured the mattresses and they were not queen. For a $220 room on a weeknight, we expected a bit nicer accommodation and better customer service. The spa itself is fine. Lots of peeling paint, but the cool towels were nice.
