Good price/performance ratio
A slightly older hotel, so the rooms are rather averagely equipped. The location is in good proximity to the Ostravar Arena. Pleasant service, sufficient breakfast. A little worse sealing of the door, so you can hear the noise from the corridor to the room. Good price/performance ratio

Hotel staff was great, but the rooms could be cleaner, visible stains on the furniture within the hotel room. Also found items within the room which were left by the previous customer. Didn't have time to try the breakfast- no comment. Single bed rooms are very small with an awkward layout, recommend to upgrade to the comfort room.

Really friendly staff. Nice clean rooms. Very good breakfast. Only complaint was room was too warm but opening a window fixed that.

Hotel is a little old fashioned style but very clean. Staff is helpful and friendly. The only problems are with the dining. The times they are open are not what is posted in the room. They seem to open and close when they feel like it rather than the posted times so just be aware. When they are open, the food is great!

We came to Ostrava for the 2020 World Junior Hockey Championship and the location of this hotel was perfect for that. However, it’s not close to a lot of our tourist or business sites. But area was safe, rooms were good and staff was really helpful.

Large and clean rooms, big gym (only 1 of each cardio machine, so may have to wait a bit), big, delicious breakfast with many great selections. Friendly, helpful front desk staff. Good location, close to bus and tram stops.

We booked this hotel because Ostrava was hosting the World junior hockey championship. Ostrava has a great transport system, the hotel concierge was very friendly and knowledgeable. The hotel’s kitchen, restaurant and bars close far too early, Ostrava doesn’t have any food available after 10. It was a disappointment that room service closed too early. One of the nights we were there the hotel’s staff was short some kitchen staff and couldn’t provide any room service. Had I known I would have eaten earlier as would my diabetic husband.

Nice hotel with breakfast but no ac
I was here during the hottest part of the summer when the music festival was happening. The room was nice and simple and supplied fan was necessary as there was no ac in the room. Windows open completely helped to cool the room but with them open there was some noise from outside. The area is generally quiet and building has simple but nIce interiors, seems to be a converted housing block that is now a hotel. The included breakfast was good, with a nice variety of option , and the staff were friendly and helpful.it also has onsite parking but I didn't use this.

Good hotel with good food but a little far from town. A tram is about 200 mts away and brings you into the town center

- Room is Quite tiny, but comfortable. Washroom is modern and clean. However, our pillow/bed had pieces of short black hair from previous guest. Makes me question whether or not the pillow cases/sheets were changed. Phone was not always working during our stay. The door knob is so close to the edge/frame it is so dangerous. We scraped our hand closing the door quite a few times. Mini bar is nicely stocked with few items to purchase. - Wi-Fi is excellent speed despite going down a couple of times, I am surprised at the connection. We were able to stream shows on our laptops in our room which was great considering there's nothing to watch on tv. - The assortment of food at the free breakfast buffet included in our stay was delicious. The restaurant in the hotel also has good food and a wide and excellent selection of booze. - Staffs at receptionist and bar was professional, respectful and friendly. However, hotel manager and breakfast staff is extremely rude, unprofessional and discriminating against minorities. We were crudely humiliated, rudely mistreated, chased down and falsely treated like criminals during our entire stay due to a petty incident turned into the most uncomfortable 10 days of our lives. I will not return and do not recommend staying here if you are not of Eastern European descent. Long story short, a complaint has been submitted.

A good deal for the price
The hotel was not very conveniently located, and it took me a while to figure-out how I could get to where I wanted to go. But with the very low cost, I was willing to do the walking. There was an excellent well-equipped fitness center, but the open hours were inconvenient for me: 7am to 9pm. Nonetheless, I was able to get into the exercise room using my room key at 5am, anyway. Air conditioning in July consisted of a fan in the room. A bit noisy, but OK. The breakfast (included in the price) was very good.

Easy summary of my review: there are better hotels in Ostrava and I have no idea where the four stars come from. First, the reception staff was less than satisfactory - check-in took forever, the receptionist failed to explain the key system, when asked about the room service, the receptionist DID NOT KNOW what room service is, although the hotel does provide it... etc. The room itself was ok, clean and relatively quiet as well. The room service, when I finally got around to order, was excellent. The ordering, delivering, food itself, wonderful, especially for the very low price.

Mainly the staff was amazing. They helped us in any way they could. The restaurant below has pretty good food but our waiter was just such a sweet man. It was a nicer restaurant than we anticipated but its quiet. Definitely would recommend.

The hotel is closed to the center and it is not expencive. They have a grat shower and beds, but if it would be possible to make the room a little bit warmer so it would be great. Thanks all employes who took care about us and all the best:-)

Velká spokojenost
Zařízení hotelu poměrně zastaralé, hlavně v pokojích. Chtelo by to menší upgrade, jinak nemůžu říci špatného slova. Snídaně v ceně výborná, i sekt jste si mohli nalít. V hotelové restauraci jsme využili i večeři, musím říct, že vynikající, i servis odpovídá. Všichni jsme byli spokojeni. Parkovné v areálu 100 Kč na den
