Our short stay at Hotel Tumulus is quite memorable not only because of the view of the St. Michael Tumulus from our hotel window but also the friendliness and the care the hotel staff gave to us. The hotel itself is beautiful, clean, quiet and very comfortable. We will stay with them again and will gladly recommended them to friends and family.

Family stay at hôte Tumulus
We had to stay in an old house quite far away outside the hotel. The beds were not comfortable, we had booked 2 double king size beds and we had 2 single beds and 1 sofa bed. Decoration needs a serious refresh overall.

Very good hotel with a couple of exceptions.
Hotel in great location for town and attractions. Asked for a quiet room and got it by being upgraded to the annex building 30 meters away from main building. Restaurant very good despite some staff being a lttle starchy. if wi fi is lmportant to you then be aware it does not function at all reliably which is a pity. Main negative point is the telephone in our room does not function yet this is the only way to signal a fire for example. Nobody took notice of this despite our efforts. Shame. Apart from this point everything good.

Fortunately we had a late booking deal otherwise we would have found this overpriced. The room was fine but nothing special. The service was just odd, what seemed professional at first soon appeared to be more passive aggressive, with over-elaborate service at table, if you enjoy that sort of ting this is the place for you.

I think the hotel should invest in new bedding and mattresses. For some reason there was not enough Kleenex and toilet paper. We were there for three days. The staff are really great! The grounds are very well tended with beautiful Hydrangeas. There is a nice pool and spa. The breakfast is ample with some variety. The location of the hotel is ideal. We were at the hotel in July and it would have been wonderful if there had been air condition.

Really enjoyed our stay. Hotel was beautiful but a bit pricy. Limited facilities but beautiful location and incredibly clean and comfortable

Hotel Tumulus
Very comfortable and within the area of the beaches and megaliths but far enough away from large crowds. Wished we would have known about the Sunday morning market right down the street. We saw it as we were leaving, but would have visited it if we weren't pressed for time.

Séjour au Tumulus Carnac
Hôtel pas digne d’un Collectionneur, mobilier en général très vétuste,au restaurant les chaises sont inconfortables et tables rayées,manque des rideaux aux fenêtres,peinture du plafond qui a coulé sur les pierres et les carreaux pas très propres pour une vue panoramique.chambre avec mobilier ancien à la suite à la villa Joséphine à l’extérieur de l’hôtel à vraiment besoin d’un rafraîchissement au niveau des peintures et des volets, baguettes qui se décollent des fenêtres,douche vraiment trop petite difficile de bouger une fois à l’intérieur. Je pense qu’il ne doivent avoir la recette ou la machine pour un cappuccino,c’est juste un café avec du lait pas de mousse. Au niveau du parking,c’est sur la terre battue sous les arbres et chacun se gare comme il peut. Seul point positif le restaurant reste acceptable. Je ne comprend pas que ce restaurant soit sur les Collectionneurs

Hôtel calme et agréable. Personnel très sympathique. La chambre était confortable et calme. La piscine chauffée, une merveille! Petit déjeuner vraiment excellent mais le dîner très moyen pour un prix excessif.

Un accueil chaleureux, une chambre très spacieuse et agréable avec une belle vue sur le jardin, l'hôtel est bien placé il faut juste marcher un peu pour allez voir la mer.

L'esprit breton
Le tumulus Saint-Michel d'un côté, l'horizon marin de l'autre, l'endroit est vraiment particulier et avoir une chambre avec vue à l'est et l'ouest est vraiment idéal. Un très bon moment dans un confort douillet et avec un accueil tout à fait chaleureux.

Séjour très agréable dans l'ensemble. Personnel aimable et accueillant. Restaurant très bon également. 2 petites choses nous ont légèrement déçu : le fait d'avoir une chambre non rénovée et donc un peu tristoune au RDC à côté d'un local "privé" : nous étions réveillés par des bruits du personnel très tôt... et le fait aussi que nous n'ayions pas le choix de plats autre que le menu entrée/plat/dessert.

Attente de 10 minutes a nôtre arrivée. (Personne) Belle chambre confortable vue baie. Grand parking voiture mais vraiment pas adapté moto.je pense que 20 metres carrés de plat a l abris du vent serait un plus.le restaurant est excellent avec du personnel tres sympathique. Le petit-déjeuner est a revoir fromage sous plastique et jambon pas bon .pas vu les croissants ni pains au chocolat.
