Nice, Clean, ComfortablePosted Jul 7, 2014
Pros: comfortable, clean, affordable.
Cons: the room itself was great. If anything, perhaps higher quality coffee ;) and a bigger variety for breakfast, though it really was quite good.
Location: We weren't in town long enough to check out the area. Pretty rural it seemed.
A comfortable place that was clean enough for me to feel comfortable with my toddlers playing in the room! Walls seemed to be decently sound proof as well, which was important for us since WE had the noisy kiddos. :) We slept comfortably, the floors and shower were clean. Breakfast was pretty average, nothing too fancy, though we were happy to have a few hot items available as well as the standard cold fare. Check in and check out went smoothly. Easily accessed wi-fi. Seemed like plenty of space for clothing if we had stayed longer.
Disappointed with Customer Service & Room Quality.Posted Jun 23, 2014
Pros: The location was convenient to Morehead Collage.
Cons: Accountability and Expectation Standards! Customer Service and a better managed housekeeping/maintenance department.
Upon arrival, the front desk clerk was on the phone with a potential future quest explaining upcoming dates of availability and finally after 15 minutes, booked a room. There was a lady in front of me who was there when I walked in. She was furious by the time she was waited on. At one point while the clerk was on the phone, she stated to we who were waiting, "I hope you all have reservations because we are completely booked". She finished with the lady in front of me and after the lady left the counter, the clerk rolled her eyes and shook her head. The room smelled like it had been wet and closed up, one of the beds was broken as the mattress was much lower at the headboard than at the foot end. For a middle class family trying to visit the local college to the price was expensive and then to receive such poor service really left a bad feeling about the investment of the trip.

Staying for GraduationPosted May 19, 2014
Pros: Breakfast, I truly enjoyed the breakfast. I did thank the one lady I saw preparing breakfast. If there were others working I want to say, Thank you.
Location: Location was good. Just outside of Moorehead University.
Everything, the room, bed, bathroom, all were very nice. The W-Fi was not so good & the TV channel guide I was given was wrong.

just what we neededPosted Dec 2, 2013 on Hotels.com
The hotel was a short distance from the inter-state, the reception staff was very helpful, the room was clean and well-kept and there was a refrigerator and microwave in the room. It was good for our over-night stay. On the other hand, I don't remember there being any restaurants at the exit so that could be a problem.

Nice place away from noise.Posted Dec 2, 2013
Pros: Friendly Staff
Cons: The HVAC in our room had not been upgraded to digital yet, which caused some work to get the temperature to the right temperature for the three of us.
From our arrival until we left, the staff was extremely friendly and helpful. They knew the area and places in the area to eat. They easily gave us directions to several locations to see antiques, as well as, the best way to get to my son's school. The breakfast buffet was excellent. Unlike some places I have stayed where buffet items were all cooked at once, and aged poorly, the breakfast items from biscuits to eggs and sausages were regularly fixed fresh.
